It still hadn't really sunk in yet, everything that had happened. Much wasn't sure how he was supposed to act about it yet. He felt a little lost if he was entirely honest, but having the people around he cared for and who genuinely seemed to care for him helped. He wasn't clear how long he'd been gone, but judging by Robin's reaction the answer was probably simply just 'long enough'. The thoughts in his head were complicated. That was a thing that rarely happened, and now he knew why. It was enough to give him a slight headache, but there was no time for that. Jane was on her way over.
She was going to be the first he'd seen aside from Marian and Robin of the friends he'd made in this place. But could he really just call her a friend now? This world had proven that it was against them, that they had an unknown time left in it. It was plainly clear that he liked her beyond that. When it came to spending time with people Jane was usually first choice for him.
He heard the sound at the door and stood to answer it. It was just him. No black eyed demon him, or illusion, no Robin answering without him. He was there looking all sorts of alive and well. "Jane." A simple greeting, but seeing her again he was without words or even ability to figure out what else to do. Like his brain was stuck in frozen mode and all he could do was smile at her quietly and let her in.
