After the Registration Act came the Education Act. The Education Act told mutant families that their children would not be allowed to go to school with ‘normal’ children. If the child is from a human family and they show mutant powers they would also not be able to attend school with ‘normal’ children. Outraged by this Emma Summers, Warren Worthington and Rachel de la Rocha pooled their resources together and used all the pull they could to do something about the problem. When fighting the act proved to be moot they decided to open a new school. Xavier's was turned into a museum after the Registration Act was finalized so they opened a brand new school called Tomorrow’s Hope. Warren backed the school financially, Emma did the books and Rachel hired the teachers. Together they were able to give young mutants a place to learn like any other child. The school runs from K to 12 and will soon be offering university courses. |
