The Korean War, 1950-1953. You are stationed at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital three miles from the front lines in Uijeongbu, South Korea with some of the most skilled surgical hands ever to serve the United States Army. Your chief surgeon, Captain Hawkeye Pierce is a remarkably gifted doctor who, with his partner in crime (and fellow resident of a tent dubbed 'the Swamp' - Captain BJ Hunnicutt) between long, intense sessions of treating critically wounded patients, makes the best of his life in an isolated Army camp with heavy drinking, carousing, and pulling pranks on the people in the camp. His cynicism and total lack of military discipline can only be matched by his talent as a surgeon and empathy toward his fellow men. Your incumbent commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Henry Blake is as absent-minded and pushover as they come, and arguably (surely in jest) second in command only to Radar O'Reilly; the camps beloved, seemingly psychic Corporal and company clerk. Throw in Major Margaret Houlihan, head nurse and self-described 'military brat' who runs a tight ship over the team of nurses; Father Francis Mulcahy, your timid chaplain with the guts of a lion, and an entire military unit's worth of characters, and you have the 4077th. For as long as anyone can remember, the City has always been one of the largest metropolitan centers in the world. It has had its share of glory and decline, but none so great as the age following the founding of OzCorp. Michael Ozma was no man of magic, but he might as well have been, for the technological wonders he wrought.

Today, however, the Gilded Age is long past. OzCorp, now led by Ozma's three daughters, has become corrupt, and the City has fallen from its glory days. Crime and drugs now rule the streets, though some aristocrats continue to live above it all.

Inspired by folk-lore and fairy-tales, Not So Far Away is a unique Role-Playing World that brings characters from fairytale, folklore, and mythology from around the world together into an ever-expanding universe.

On May 02, 1998, a battle broke out at Hogwarts. The battle. Students, professors, creatures, The Order and Death Eaters alike fought hard for their beliefs. And then, Harry came forward, and history was made when he defeated Voldemort. Peace does not come easy though. There was a heavy price and they're only just beginning to pay it.

May 02 is a trio-era game set in the wake of the Final Battle. Picking up the day of and just after the ending of the final battle, we will follow our beloved characters as they grieve, fight and work to rebuild their lives, and attempt to find their place in the world as it stands now.

But it certainly won't come easy.

MAY 02 is a game that started immediately post-war with the goal of playing out the interesting dynamics of what might have happened during that time. While not epilogue (or interview) compliant, the game is set strictly in canon, with a few additions for a realistic feel. As it stands now, the Hogwarts year has just started, and the Quidditch season is kicking up but there are still two Death Eaters on the loose to cause problems, even as attempts to move forth are being made.

The human race has been telling stories to each other for over two thousand years. Characters from the simplest fables to the most complex works of fiction known to mankind have all been written to convey a message, teach a lesson, stir emotion. But what would happen if a character from story A suddenly had to interact with someone from story B?

[info]athenaeum is a game centered around the lives of the unusual residents of Powell, Washington. In short, every person who lives in Powell is based off of a literary character. While other games with this theme might deal with magic, reincarnation, powers or crossing over of literary characters from their world to ours, the residents of Powell are ordinary people who simply share the same traits and histories as characters throughout the world of fiction.

The year is 2030. The scientists have successfully kept their project a secret, hiding away in the bowels of Maine. They've censored, monitored, and all but controlled the mutated, posing as doctors, teachers, and trusted family members. Powers are starting to emerge and it's their job to test their limits. The experiments are far from over, but the danger is just beginning.

The Genome Project is a game focusing on original characters with super powers and the scientists that mutated them, with a few accidental killings thrown into the mix.

Open powers include: pyrokinesis, cloaking, healing, technopathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance, shadow manipulation and many more! We're always looking for new scientists, many children need their parents in game, and some scientists may have powers of their own. Check out our premade list for pre-established lines needed.
