Started in July of '07, Anomalous was a long running game on GJ, and was also brought back on IJ closing somewhere during the summer of '08. We're currently retconning the premise, and we hope to start it again.

PREMISE
Welcome to a world influenced by power.

There are no superhuman heroes, no dastardly villains here. You may be used to hearing stories of people joining secret teams and forming legions, flying around on planes, but this is not a comic book. This is a generation of gifted humans who, in the past six months, have lost their once normal lives. Some of these "mutations" were worse than others, but together they all are united in the fact that their lives will never be the same again.

People began to notice things wrong with themselves. Wounds would heal faster, massive headaches would ensue, and suddenly they were in a different room. A man prayed to God that the next time he opened his eyes, his glance wouldn't destroy whatever fell within his gaze.

This evolutionary jump wasn't just isolated to the United States. All over the world, people began to realize their true potential. Foreign governments are trying to recruit them to military forces, wanting nothing more than to control them. Scientists search out these special people, their intentions both good and bad. What was once considered normalcy has been corrupted. Questions with no anwers are on the tip of everyone's tongue: How, or why; are they connected? Is there a greater purpose, be it dark or light, that they must face?

Already, some of these "freaks", as they were called, were using their powers for personal gain, and there was a concern that it would escalate. They would rob, they would cheat, and they would kill to seek vengence. Then there were those who tried to stay out of the limelight, frightened of their powers and the consequences that came with them. Some even found these powers as a way to gain attention, using them to save lives and get their name flashed on the evening news.

These are The Anomalous - the changed, the powerful, the revolutionized.

WANTED Anyone, and everyone is wanted and needed! We're retconning the game, so everyone is adored!

Anomalous is a AU X-Men game, if you didn't notice from reading the above. It's kind of like heroes meets marvel, and we lasted about 12 months before -- and we're hoping to recreate the same thing.

THE ROSENCRANTZ - A former close friend of Alexander's, he's found himself a bit more of a sidekick to him, which isn't where he wants to be. He's a bit of a goofball. Friends with James (THE MERLIN), and keeps him from being too serious all the time. Also the second (or better?) half of THE GUILDENSTERN.

Welcome to Harmony. It’s a lovely place, clear blue skies and attractive buildings. It’s funny, but even though all you can remember is this place, it feels like you’ve never been here before.

Why does it feel that way? Well, probably because it’s true. Sssh, don’t tell; this is a giant experiment, one you can’t get out of. We care about you here in Harmony, and you’re very important to us. We hand picked you from your world, because there was just something about you. We know you will be helpful.

It’s important that you feel at home. Almost like you’re not in an experiment at all. So we’re going to give you a new set of family, friends, and memories. Because, don’t forget – we care about you. We want you to feel at home, seeing as from now on, this is your home.

So here’s the gist – your character was plucked from their world, and brought to this one. It’s unclear if it’s an alternate dimension or even a different planet. The place has similar atmosphere and appearances as Earth, but how would you ever know if it was or not? From there, something happened to their memory. It’s not clear how that happened, either. All you know is there is a little scar, on your neck, right below your hairline. Maybe you had it before. Or maybe, it has nothing to do with your memory. You have no idea.

After you were brought here, and your memory erased, a new one was implanted. Some got a new brother or sister, some got new friends, and some even got new spouses or fiancés. It’s weird, really. You feel like you know them so well, and at the same time, like you don’t know them at all. You have a job, and a place to live. You have a memory of going to school at Harmony High, and parents that have died peacefully. You remember every aspect of this place, because after all, you’ve lived here since you were born.

In addition to all that, from time to time, you’ll get a call from the Doctor’s office. You’ll come in, they’ll give you a supposedly harmless shot, and you’ll be on your way. Strange thing is you’ll start to feel really different after you get that shot.

Is it the shot? Or is it something inside you?

The Forbidden Forest seems more sinister, the grounds seem twisted at times, and often it's hard to tell if you've woken up from the nightmare of last year at all. Did Headmistress McGonagall really have her throat ripped out? Did Professor Longbottom really pass away after a month of being in a coma? Did you really lose all those friends to different 'terrorist' acts? No, this has to be happening to your parents, not you. This has to have all just been a nightmare...Right?Wrong. Last year was filled with shocking turns, a mass amount of death and chaos, and there's nothing other than the promise of a woman you don't trust at all (Headmistress Remoth) promising she'll keep you safe this year. It'll be better than last year.

Cursed Prophecy is a new era HP RPG that involves aspects of normal Hogwarts life with the chaos that comes with change. CP will be an intimate game with a mature theme, we are looking for creative writers with open minds and the ability to be active.

Tired of those games that are purely meant for shipping purposes and barely focus on the events of the first war? We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi. Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. Students just out of Hogwarts viewed the world with endless possibilities; some acquired jobs, found a place to live, settled down and had a family, while others made their parents proud, took the Dark Mark, and joined an organisation which promised to restore the wizarding world to its former glory. So join us and let's write their history, a complete history, of the events that happened that affected the fate of the wizarding world forever.

The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of suffering, such as the reign of Lord Voldemort that occurred not once, but twice. But, as it was foreseen, good triumphed over evil and the world gained peace. It seemed to be everlasting for witches and wizards everywhere, a great relief to those who feared the worst in the midst of rebuilding. Twenty-five years later, someone now threatens to destroy the peace that has come to be, though not in such a way that would strike fear in the general public. It's much worse: Hogwarts has a new Headmaster and the students aren't going to like him.

Tiberius Ogden was just appointed the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the summer, the former Headmaster, Matthew Harrison, having abruptly retired when he suddenly came upon a very large sum of money. The Ogden name is famous for its liquor, though Tiberius has no interest in making drunks out of his peers. No, Tiberius Ogden followed another path, one of strict behavior that came with wielding a firm hand rather than a tap. A retired Hit Wizard, Tiberius has known a life of hardship and determination and believes that today's youth are becoming weak-minded prats. As a way to change this, he quickly took up the position Headmaster Harrison wished to discard.

Students will be in for quite the shock when they return to school to have their yearly start of term feast. Not only are they receiving a new Headmaster, but he comes with a whole new set of rules - rules so numerous in count that a book of them was created - something each student will find at their seat.

In the 1970s, a war had begun to rage throughout wizarding Britain. People disappeared, entire families were killed-- and the world was torn between Albus Dumbledore's Order of Phoenix and Tom Riddle's Death Eaters. The Ministry of Magic stood nearly powerless to stop these massacres and the threat of a pureblood society taking complete control loomed overhead. A red scare suddenly ran throughout the wizarding world as the body count grew.

The tables turned when the Dark Lord received intelligence that he believed would seal the fate of this war. A prophecy about a child that would have the power to defeat him, and it quickly came to light that this child was born of Lily and James Potter. He set about trying to find the couple who had defied him three times, and dispose of their son.

On October 31st, 1980 the Dark Lord was finally able to find the Potters at their home in Godric's Hollow when Peter Pettigrew betrayed them. However, the Potters were not ill-prepared for the attack. Severus Snape had been able to warn Lily Potter of what was to come, and when the Dark Lord arrived that evening at Godric's Hollow-- he was not met with the happy parents and their child-- but the entire Order of Phoenix and an ambush. On that Halloween, the Dark Lord fell, and the wizarding world rejoiced.

Time marched on, and the world forgot about what had happened that Halloween in 1980. The families who had supported the Dark Lord were either jailed, disappeared or managed to buy their way into freedom with tarnished reputations-- but the Ministry of Magic and the Order of Phoenix managed to regain their hold and purge the world of darkness. The world was at peace, but the Dark Lord would not remain forgotten forever-- those true to him knew there were plans that could resurrect him-- but those plans had seemingly disappeared.

In a world that is falling into forgetfulness and repeating the past, where will you stand in this time of trial?

Premise Rules FAQs Area Information Races Cast Wanted Application IC OOC Mods	On May 1st, 2009, nation leaders spoke together to reveal a truth to the world: the supernatural world is real. Vampires, werewolves, and more exist. They have been known to the government for a long time, and now they are coming out of the shadows - and they come with a message. They are not a threat. They mean no danger to humans. But there are other things out there that do. The days that followed changed everything most people believed they knew about the world, about history, and most importantly, about themselves. Celebrities, politicians, the family down the street - they began revealing their true identities, and telling the world what they really were. Missing people that had been turned against their will came out of hiding, and orginizations popped up to reunite them with their families. The revealing of the supernatural was penned in the media as the Light of May, as society made room for the supernatural. It wasn't easy. Many, human and supernatural alike, were terrified of what this would mean. Some wanted to keep the supernatural abominations down. Leading figures of both Democratic and Republican parties were revealed to be supernaturals themselves, and joined together to fight for civil rights for the supernatural. It is revealed that if the supernatural were wiped out, half of the entire world's population would be gone. Independent parties popped up through-out the country, opposing supernatural rights, and the fight goes on. But those aren't the only battles being fought. Why did the Light of May happen? If the supernatural has always existed, why are they only making themselves known now? For centuries, those with supernatural blood have been hunted, held, and killed - all for the benefits of their blood to hunters, and vampires who don't want to play by the rules of etiquette. There was a time when the angels, and even the fae, fought to protect them. But the fae have been extinct for hundreds of years, and worse - the angels seem to have disappeared. There is nothing fighting the demons of the world at bay now. The human race is at risk, and they are not alone. _________________________ The Light of May is an original supernatural game, taking place in a time when the world is adjusting to the world that has been hidden since the beginning of time. The game is set in Ann Arbor, Michigan, centered around a fictional township called Scarlet Oak. Characters of many races are up for play, as are those trusty humans. The Light of May will be focusing on characters adjustments and the eventual struggle against demons, hunters, and more. The Light of May is for original characters only.
