| On January 1st, 1980, Voldemort disappeared. Not even his most devoted followers know where he went, but in the absence of their leader, the Death Eater movement gradually fell apart, and the wizarding world found itself in an uneasy truce. The horror of the war has not been forgotten, but few still believe that the Dark Lord will return. Now it's the spring of 1998. Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom, the children of prophecy who might be able to defeat Voldemort once and for all, are about to leave Hogwarts, along with their peers - but they are Chosen Ones unmarked by grief and almost untouched by trial. Thanks to the anticlimax of the first war, the wizarding world is unprepared for a jarring end to their eighteen years of peace. But soon enough, the Dark Marks will burn again... The disappearance of certain files from their government doesn't help to ease tensions. Wizards, meanwhile, have some idea of what those files contain - information about the wizarding world - and are on edge believing that any day their presence will be revealed to muggles. This leads many wizards to look to the most unlikely people as a sign of hope in uncertain times: Death Eaters. NEEDED CHARACTERS: MUGGLES! (no, you read right -- muggles! Like Petunia Dursley and muggle conspirators). Many major characters are still available, like James Potter, Severus Snape, and all the Lestranges. We're also seeking Frank Longbottom, Edgar Bones, Arthur Weasley, Ted Tonks, and many others. |

In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards have begun a rebellion, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself. Change is on the brink for the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World. Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. 1979 A prophecy is foretold: The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not.... 1981 Lord Voldemort attempted to attack Godric's Hollow to prevent the prophecy from being fulfilled; but, when the Order was tipped off about his plan, they were able to warn the Potters before Lord Voldemort could get to them. Instead, Lord Voldemort found himself face to face with Albus Dumbledore when he arrived at the village. Lord Voldemort, refusing to lose, lashed out with a violent curse that severely wounded both himself and Dumbledore. But when the attack did not kill the older wizard, the weakened Dark Lord ordered a mysterious lurker to finish off Dumbledore. With Albus Dumbledore gone, the Wizarding World waited with baited breath for Lord Voldemort to rise to power. Months passed and there was no sign of the Dark Lord's return. Rumors of his death spread like a wildfire and many attempted to gain back what they had lost to fear. Only the Order of the Phoenix remained suspicious and vigilant. 1983 Many have started to regain the lost normalcy in their lives. Nevertheless, unbeknownst to the peace-seeking Wizarding World, a devious plot has been set into motion; one that will tear down the foundation of Wizardry and bring about the second war. |

| Located in the western part of the state, this mid-sized town has mostly failed to live up to its grandiose name. It's big enough that no one knows everyone else, small enough that a new face is noticeable. The leaves are lovely in the fall, tourists stop through with reasonable regularity, and nothing much ever changes. Or didn't. Some of the townspeople have dreams. Recurring dreams about blood, and horses, and steel. About silken gowns, and hawking, and high spires. About loyalties and rivalries long faded into legend. Most of them have shrugged the dreams off. They're only dreams. But things are beginning to change after all. Britannia, NY is a brand-new Arthurian game set in the present day. Arthur has returned, but so has his sister-enemy, Morgan. Characters will have to come to grips with past life memories, choose a side, forge alliances -- and hope to prevail.
