Charmed Progeny

Life is peaceful for the Halliwells and their families. Piper, Phoebe, Paige, and Leo have settled down with their lives. No more demon hunting, no more crazy backfired spells, no more death and destruction. Their children are growing up in a world with little conflict, occasionally kicking a bit of demon ass when nessecary. Wyatt and Chris have grown into law abiding citizens. Paige and Phoebe's children are all growing up, attending Magic School. Leo is teaching there, watching over the education of the students. Piper has finally opened the restaurant she's always wanted. Wyatt has taken over P3. Paige is a full whitelighter. Phoebe is a prize winning column writer for The Bay Mirror, and has penned several best selling novels on love.

Trouble begins brewing right under their noses, unbeknownst to the Halliwell family. A new Source of Evil is rising to power, organizing the once chaotic underworld. This new Source is planning on taking out the Halliwell line to clear the path for a worldly destruction and a takeover of evil. Betrayal is lurking in their midst, and together, Wyatt, Chris, and their cousins will battle this inner threat and the Source along with the help of new allies. Now it’s up to the Halliwell offspring to save the day and take on their parents charge of the Charmed destiny.

In a time of danger, the sisters decide it's time to pass on their Charmed heritage. The chosen three are Melinda (Piper's youngest), Parker (Phoebe's oldest), and Ariel (Paige's elder twin). The other children are just as important, and they must all work together if they want to survive and persevere.

Amidst the lies and the fighting, friendships are forged and love blooms for these youngsters. New friends are gained, while old friends are lost. They all begin down paths of self-discovery, each realizing their full potential and fullfilling their destinies.

They must band together and put aside their childhood squabbles. Will they be able to save good magic?

I’ve never actually advertised for a specific line before, at least not that I can remember, so just bear with me. I’m looking for a line involving this girl [info]c_robinson at [info]taintedsaints. It would sort of be a “big-brother” sort of line where you would play a faculty to member, it doesn’t really matter which. (I was thinking maybe a sport’s coach or somebody like the school doctor or whatever, but honestly it’s up to you.) Basically just some sort of male, adult figure that Cecilia can slowly learn to trust and maybe even learn some self respect from. You’d be free to pick the pb and make your character however you’d like. Plus you’d probably get plenty of lines from the other players in the comm.

As for a PB it doesn’t really matter to me. If you’d rather play somebody a little older and turn it into more of a “father-figure” line that could work as well. I’m pretty open to anything, so just comment here if you’re interested or have any questions or whatever.

Edward, Alice and Bella have just arrived back to Forks after their little run in with the Volturi. They all have a choice to make now and Bella is the cause of ever problem within the Cullen family. They still haven't made the decision to turn her yet and there's still time for her to choose. Her never ending battle between the love she refuses to admit to and the love she refuses to live without. Will it ever become easier for her or will she always love two different people? She is divided and she can't bring either half of herself to co-exist with the other. It's time to make a choice. Will she live to love Jacob or will she die to love Edward?

When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your live was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not give it?

In 1865 a woman named Meda stumbled into the home of Dominque Fournier; she was half out of it rambling about the end of times. Dominque's maid carried her up the stairs and laid her down on the bed, and then went to fetch her master. When he arrived in the room she told him that it was his destiny to unite the five covens that would prevent the end of the all things, and then she was gone; she had died with her eyes wide open in terror. Dominque was the leader of a very powerful coven of witches, and when he heard what she had told him he instantly went to the rest of his coven and told them what she had said. Their decision was to form a team of magical beings to search out the other four covens and begin the preparation. It has been one hundred and forty-four years since then, and all of the covens have been found.



Meanwhile there was one being that was determined to bring about Armageddon; he wanted to destroy the world and start over with him as the supreme ruler. Zhang Shen was the epitome of evil; he was born in 1912 and when he 19 he stole the youth from a fairy princess making him forever young and thus banishing fairies from the world forever. He is also creating an army of vicious demons and other magical beings and he is preparing them for the day when they will all band together and take over the world.

WTF?! RP - Not your typical Harry Potter Roleplay
Setting. Rules. Holds. Application.

Game Opened: April 1, 2009! Applications for female characters will be given priority.

WTF?! is a 'Harry Potter' afterlife-based roleplaying game set on its own island, called Sointula. It takes some of the clichés found so often in the fandom and in 'Potter' RPs and revels in them.

Four gods have set this island up so that they can observe peoples' daily lives. Think of it like a game of 'Sims' for the dead. The gods pick and choose who they want on their island for their own reasons and may or may not help people. They do whatever they want, because they can.

Note, though, that there's a lot of weirdness in this game. It's not your typical 'put everybody from the canon together in one place' type of setting. Modern Muggle technology is everywhere, and everyone who shows up on the island will know how to use that modern tech.

The game is quirky but not silly. There will be comedic storylines, and there will be dramatic storylines. It's all up to the players.

This game is looking for creative people who are willing to work within some set parameters and explore the possibilities of the fandom's clichés. Some aspects of your character's life on the island will be set by the gods when that character is accepted. If you're not comfortable with playing things that aren't determined by you, don't bother applying. It's not a crack game, despite it's name and setting, but it's also not 'high drama, all the time.' It needs players who have enough time to give to the game to develop their characters and storylines, not those who apply to every new game that starts up and never put in any quality time on any game because their creativity is spread too thin.

Characters that aren't active, or who only interact with one or two other characters, will be removed. That doesn't mean your character has to thread with every single person in the game, but you have to at least make an effort to have them talk to and interact with characters outside of those they were involved with in the novels. If you enjoy taking the canon characters outside of their comfort zones, exploring new possibilities, and you enjoy quality RP in an unusual setting, this game could be for you.

If you're looking for the same old tired stuff, go elsewhere.

Every character from the 'HP' canon is open for play, wizard, Muggle, or whatever, but be sure to read the Rules, Setting, Posting Guidelines, and Taken Characters & PB Lists, before applying.

I'm a harsh guy when it comes to my rules. If you give me crap, I'll give it back to you. I don't care who you are, or how your popular you are in the fandom, or how many games you're in, or how many times you've played 'X' character in games, or how long you've been RPing, or if you write fanfic that makes people squeal. I don't care.

Not much really goes on in Superstition. They say it used to be Native Land. Caught between mountain and desert, one would think it would be an amazing place to grow up. Nah. It's just boring.

To human eyes.

Underneath the mundune surface of southwest small town, Superstition is a haven of activity that most people only know from stories and legend. Nightmarish creatures and unwitting people as neighbors, greeting each other at the mailbox, their kids going to school with things from story books, and blissfully unaware their co-workers might be not so human.

[info]_superstition revolves around the kids at the local high school, both human and non. It's a modern, fantasy RPG, flexible to all characters and creatures of a fantastic nature.

God's Letter To All:
Hello. My name is God, though you really don't have to call me that.

I've been around for awhile, and you could say that I'm sort of over myself by now.

Like many deities and non-deities, I've gone through phases. My early days were wrathful and insecure, and then I sacrificed my own son to save humanity from the sins they committed despite my wrath. Now, I'm finding it's a bit wearisome to even find the motivation to help the people who inhabit the world I've created. Nietzsche had it wrong, when he said that I was dead; I'm just wondering if humanity is worth saving, now that my world has been corrupted by war, greed, and evil intentions.

It doesn't help matters, that Lucifer, my nemesis, is reincarnated every two-hundred years. Such a system ensures that he is ever fresh, ever ready to do battle, whereas I myself remain eternal and unchanging, and as the centuries wax, so waxes my weariness.

That time is approaching again, and Lucifer has chosen now to officially declare war on me, and all that is good, while he is most invigorated and I am feeling my age.

You may call me The Shepherd, and enter the new world I created. You will live and work as you did before if you leave your world and join Heaven's army. When you die, you may become an angel, but if you die as an angel, you return to the elements.

Please show me that there is still some good left in this world. For as long as good exists, evil shall not prevail.


Lucifer's Letter To All:

Ah, yes, I see my favorite person in all the universe has already contacted you. He's such a sweetie, right? I could eat Him up.

So, yes. I'm tired of simply being thrown aside. As we can see, I have the upper hand. Just look at all the sin! Everybody loves it! Lust, greed, gluttony, vanity, sloth, wrath, envy, pride. And America is likely the most potent area of them all. Oh, how good it feels to walk through the streets at night and watch you all! It makes me want to dance!

He doesn't like it, though. He doesn't like your fun! Who does He think He is to take such things from you? Isn't that what life is all about? You should have fun! You should live your life to the fullest! And let me tell you a secret:

They lie about Hell in the Holy-Book, ya see? They tell you it's all fire and brimstone, but think about it. I want to spite God, not follow His directions! It's a party down here! Everybody loves it!...Except maybe the little fallen angels we catch. Oh, those poor dear lost souls. They will eventually become one of us in time. They just have to deal for the moment.

So, yes, as you can see, you have nothing to fear from Hell. It is better than heaven, I assure you. Heaven is quite boring, with their pussy attitude and elitism. No one has fun there as they are always afraid of being judged and thought of as evil. Not to mention one wrong mistake and they're kicked out. The poor things. They worked so hard in life only to have to work hard again in their afterlife. They need to let loose!

Don't fall for His tricks. It's better here, you see? You'd be better off following your primal urges and coming to my side. We're going to be fighting a war! I already have more recruits than he does, but it would be so funny to see the look on His face when we pummel his army into the ground so effortlessly that it will seem as if all their preparation was null.

PREMISE

You wake up to the smell of smoke.


In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus.

You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.


Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty.

Seven years ago, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell, finally bringing an end to his vicious reign of power and terror. Yet, the war did not end with his death. For years, the Wizarding World has worked to repair the damages left during the aftermath of war. Emotional burdens have yet to fully heal, too many lives destroyed, families torn apart, and friends lost. Hogwarts was left in rubble, unable to reopen for years, the damage too great, endless sweat and tears shed as people worked to rebuild the foundations to give their children a future. All the while, the Muggle World is at war, affecting the Wizarding World as it heightens. The world is in complete chaos.

Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt is determined to rebuild the Wizarding Community into a vision of peace and has called forth some of the best Aurors from around the world in an effort to clean up the United Kingdom, determined to capture and imprison the remaining Death Eaters and send a clear message of constant vigilance to those seeking to do more harm. Many are unhappy with the Minister’s plans, many seeking to replace him and other important individuals, some willing to go to great lengths to achieve their goals.

Critical moments in a species’ evolution are met with two things: birth and subsequent death. Technology may have once hindered man’s progression toward further evolution, but advances in biological science could now change everything. Daniel Linderman, a man with influence, power, and money, seeks to usher in a new age of man. Some would say that his goal is for the betterment of tomorrow— if only they knew what he was doing in the first place. For forty years, Linderman has been involved with conducting experiments amongst the general population under the guise of what he liked to call “Pharmaceutical Testing.” Hundreds of people have volunteered for these tests, never knowing that they were now guinea pigs for something that could change the world.

Halloween, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another viscous war upon the Wizarding World.

Everyone knows the story of Harry Potter, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown.

It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell is off to Albania where he will become a vessel for the weakened Dark Lord, Charlie Weasley and his friends are in their sixth-year at Hogwarts, and the foundation for the future is being paved.

They are at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead lies a mystery, which paths will they chose? Who will they become? Only one thing is certain; they must continue on.

City Of Hills is an aim and thread friendly play by (PB)/city based community set in San Francisco, California. Writers of this community are promised creative control over their story lines. As long as things are kept realistic, there should not be an issue at all. We are a game that encourages diversity among characters and accept all types of play bys. This is a pretty basic city-wide game, although we do focus our residential selections around fourteen neighborhoods. This game also accepts characters of all ages.

"….Voldemort's powerful now. You don't know who his supporters are, you don't know who's working for him and who isn't; you know he can control people so that they do terrible things without being able stop themselves. You're scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of more deaths, more disappearances, more torturing … The Ministry of Magic's in disarray, they don't know what to do, they're trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion …"

Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight.

In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards has begun to pull ranks, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself.

Change is on the brink and the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World.

Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. As both sides fight to gain support, one question lies: which side do you choose?

The City of Sin is a plot driven supernatural game which will give every player the chance to have a say in the overarching plot of the game. It is a dark and gritty game which centers around a war between three large groups and takes place in a futuristic world where demons, vampires and werewolves rule like royalty.

There are many, many plot centric characters desperately wanted. For instance Aislyn and Nicoli of the Elari. A couple who have recently married despite their romantic entanglements to their third partner - Lilith. Currently it is unsure whether the marriage is due to love or a play for more power. Then of course there is the Watch. A group who is intent on saving the remaining humans. Pitched against the scarily powerful Elari and Raidan to most it looks like the Watch are way out of their league, though that doesn't stop them trying. Finally there is the Raidan, newly arrived in Las Vegas they've got death and destruction on their agenda - but is that all?

All in all CoS needs you to make it something great. The war is just beginning and I can promise you that you will have a good, no great time here. There are some fantastic writers, some very creative minds and in all honesty? I haven't felt so inspired in a long time.

If you're looking for a plot driven game, somewhere your characters can grow and explore facets of their personality and try new things then City of Sin is for you. If you like games which don't limit you, which allow all types of storylines then this the place for you. So, I urge you to at least check us out, you won't be disappointed, I promise.

Wanted: One Albert Wesker for an up and coming Resident Evil based community to act as the other half of the antagonist team alongside the newly resurrected William Birkin. Must be bad ass and capable of kicking protagonists through doors. Slashers (for the Birkin not Chris!) loved but not necessary.
