Times change and people grow. From war blooms peace and prosperity; from a time of constant vigilance and violence comes forth an era nurtured and protected by its past to walk a road that can only head towards a brighter future. Twenty-five years after the war while their parents are off correcting past errors, the children are out and about creating new ones.

Harry Potter is still revered as a hero, as the one who defeated the Dark Lord but as the denizens no longer lived in dark times, he’s seen more as the man who revolutionized the Auror Department at the Ministry. Still, his legend lives on, though his life is no longer the focus of the wizarding world. The Ministry for Magic has also cleaned up its corrupted lines and now focuses on promoting the welfare of the people as led by Percy Weasley.

Welcome to the year 2023. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry still stands strong and stable as the day it was built and always as magical. Children of the previous generation are the ones that run the school now, pranks have gotten more devious, and competition has only increased. Allies and enemies are formed left and right and while House loyalties are still as strong as ever, the strongest rivalries exist elsewhere.

Magic has always been around, simply kept hidden from the unsuspecting mortals. Witches, wizards, shapeshifters, and hunters all existed beneath our nose, fighting amongst one another like baited bears. And, eventually, numbers dwindled between both the Witches and the Shapeshifters that they could be banished to one spot for the hunters to better keep an eye on them, and only watch, for a treaty signed to keep them from dying out completely.

New Zealand, made up of two islands, was the perfect location. Witches to the north, shapeshifters to the south, the hunters set up a head-quarters and began to watch. Until the treaty was broken. And now the witches, lead by their council, and the shapeshifters, lead by their alphas, began to join forces against the cruel hunters. A war is brewing in the beautiful hills of New Zealand, now, hidden to the mortal eye.

                    “ . . . All that was left in Pandora's box was hope.”

During the 21st century, a global pandemic consumed the world. Due to its devastating nature, they dubbed it the “Pandora Virus.” No one had time to truly study it or to counter the rapid spreading of PV. The virus tore through the world’s population, killing almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and most of the earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora Virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine.

There were others, though. Others who inhabited this planet along with human beings, but they had been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals, they were — legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. All of them were also biologically immune to the Pandora Virus. With the foresight of the oracle named Euryale, praeternaturals learned of what was to come shortly before it began and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They built safe havens in hidden areas across the world that were protected heavily by magic. Taking in humans and praeternaturals alike before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species.

One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves. It has been renovated into a sanctuary and renamed to Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world.

Shelby, California, nestled at the foot of the San Bernadino Range, was once a widely populous town. Countless people migrated to the place in 1850 as a result of the Gold Rush fever spreading throughout the state.

By 1855, Shelby was a ghost town. Houses and buildings alike had been abandoned, ransacked, and some even burned to the ground. Its residents had fled, fearing the wrath of the vindictive Dooger Brothers’ Gang.

For nine years the once rich locale remained deserted, until a group of people came and claimed the land for their own in September of 1864. They rebuilt, restocked, created new lives for themselves. Faith was restored in these people, this land.

But one thing the new residents never counted on was the return of the hostiles. The bandits. Two rival groups of outlaws, both claiming the town was rightfully theirs to steal from. Both groups periodically threatened New Shelby’s growing economy.

The year is 1867. The place is the fictional former ghost town of New Shelby, California. Law men, bandits, cowboys, and Native Americans abound. A childhood game of “Cowboys and Indians” has come back anew.



The game has been open and active since May 1, 2008.
We currently have more than 30 players and over 50 fantastic characters, and would LOVE to see more.

In the height of the Olympians' power, Gaia saw that their decadence
would destroy the world of men. To protect humanity and to protect the
Gods from themselves, the mother locked them away for thousands of years.


The world grew away from polytheism, Greece and Rome fell as great
powers in the world, and the world grew and shifted. Now, in 2007, the Gods
have been reborn as mortals. Raised in the new world as human beings,
they are just beginning to awaken to their powers and memories.

Olympia Heights is a small school. The town population is 13,000 with
most of that being elderly. 24% of high school students in the town
attend private schools. The small population leaves class sizes small.
Having fewer peers means everyone knows everyone and gossip travels fast.

Will a humanist perspective change their ways? Will old enemies find
them? Will they survive until their ascension or will they be destroyed
once and for all?

We all know the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen of the Twilight series. We know the struggles they encountered, the obstacles they overcame, the love they felt for each other which was stronger and more important than anything else. We felt as if we were a part of their journey from Twilight to Eclipse and beyond.

But what if the roles were reversed?

What is Bella was the vampire and Edward was the human?


Perfect Paradigm RPG is an AU Twilight game where Bella Cullen is a vegetarian vampire living in the Cullen coven in Forks, Washington and Edward Masen is a human, just moving to town because of his father’s job transfer. Edward’s blood calls out to Bella and she finds herself falling for much more than his scent.

Join us on a journey is seeing what would happen if the story of Twilight was reversed, was a paradigm of what it is now. Will love conquer all?


Our game starts at the beginning of Twilight with Edward Masen moving to the small town of Forks, Washington with his mother and father. Bella and the Cullens are students at Forks High and just like in the novel, when Bella first encounters Edward, his blood sings to her, calls to her. The storyline will remain relatively the same, same general events (i.e. the crash in the parking lot, Port Angeles, baseball) playing out with reversed roles with the players deciding what actually happens in each of them.

Following a rise in violent crime of over 400% nationwide, the government made a highly controversial decision. In the year 2017, the island of Manhattan was converted into a maximum-security prison for violent criminals who had been dealt life sentences. The year of its founding, 100,000 prisoners were sent to the island; now, in 2025, the population is believed to have more than tripled with new arrivals shipping in regularly. Manhattan is surrounded by a 50-foot containment wall, and no outside authority exists within the walls.

On May 2nd, 1998, the Wizarding World was purged of the greatest and most terrible evil it had ever known. The Boy Who Lived finally conquered the Dark Lord, once and for all. Naturally, society had its work cut out for it from that point. The Ministry’s rebuilding efforts took a considerable amount of time and attempted to right all the things that had been wronged, perverted, and nigh on destroyed by Lord Voldemort’s reign of terror. The first change came with Auror Kingsley Shacklebolt’s election as Minister for Magic on June 17th, 1998. Under the de-facto leadership of the Wizengamot, the captured Muggleborns were released from Azkaban and committees were instated to oversee the reconstruction of Hogwarts and Diagon Alley and Wizarding Britain began what would be a long recovery.

Shacklebolt absolutely trounced his competitors in the popular election, thus winning the Wizengamot’s appointment to the Minister’s spot and, in his inauguration speech, he promised that the tyranny of Voldemort’s Ministry, the corruption of Fudge’s, and the wartime suspension of personal liberties seen under Scrimgeour were to be relics of the past. This new Ministry, he promised, would be fervently dedicated to protecting its people and their rights. It was, in the words of many, the dawning of a new era.

No one was to be made any different than anyone else, and Minister Shacklebolt started by modifying the probation system in June 2000. There were no changes to be had for the Death Eaters, but several members of the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore’s Army, including Harry Potter and Shacklebolt themselves, were placed on different levels of probation as well, to show that no one was immune from accepting the consequences of their involvement in the War.

Finally, shortly following the modifications to the probation system, Minister Shacklebolt sent a package to every of-age Witch and Wizard in Great Britain, containing a small, black leather journal and a short statement of intent. According to Minister Shacklebolt’s letter, the journals are meant as a means to bring people together. Using special charms, people can communicate with one another much quicker than they can with owls and it is the Ministry’s hope that using these new devices will help people to see past their superficial differences.

As the summer of 2000 carries on, the people of Wizarding Britain are trying to adjust to all the changes in their lives and environment. Will society finally come together, or will old prejudices refuse to die?

I’D HAD MORE THAN MY FAIR SHARE OF NEAR-DEATH
experiences, it wasn’t something you ever really got used to.
It seemed oddly inevitable, though, facing death again,
Like I really was marked for disaster. I’d escaped time and
time again, but it kept coming back for me.
Still this time was so different from the others.
You could run from someone you feared, you could try
to fight someone you hated. All my reactions were geared
toward those kinds of killers – the monsters, the enemies.
When you love the one who was killing you, it left
you no options. How could you run, how could you fight,
when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life
was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not
give it?
If it was someone you truly loved?

Wreckoning takes place after Season 7 of Buffy and Season 5 of Angel. Angel defeated the battle in Los Angeles, but Gunn was killed off. The gang thought their troubles were over, until The First opened the Hellmouth in Cleveland, unleashing havoc that should of been surged upon Sunnydale. It's been over a decade since the appearance of Blaze and the Armageddon that followed for the most powerful fighters of mortal kombat. There is a new generation of fighters on the rise, as those who dominated the previous years are either dead, missing, or decided to lay low for a while. However, there is a new threat to the Earthrealm and its inhabitants that threatens to ruin the balance that was formed so delicately. Finally freed from the command of the Elder Gods, it seems Blaze still hasn't had enough killing and has decided it is necessary to rid the world of all its kombatants, leaving Earthrealm especially defenseless to all that surrounds it. These new, rising warriors refuse to let this happen, and they have decided to unite their forces against those of Blaze in order to keep their kombat tradition alive.

In short, the game takes place a long while after MK: Armageddon and features all new fighters as the force that fights for the cause of Mortal Kombat itself.

A city is full of stories. Hundreds, thousands, millions of stories unfold everyday along the concrete byways and beneath steel towers. And while every story is unique and original, there’s no denying that some of them seem…familiar. As if the same stories were repeating themselves, the same characters taking shape in slightly different forms.

In one particular city, on one particular block, that déjà vu is particularly intense. The people that live and work on this particular block seem to come from the oldest stories. The ones that keep showing up, everywhere you turn. All on this block.

This is the home of the archetypes, the culture heroes, the origin myths, the figures of childhood bedtime stories, of song and legend. They’ve shown up dozens of places, in countless variations. And now they’re here.
The only question is: what form will they take this time?
