| unexpectedrpg is a brand new AU Harry Potter role play for those who are tired of the same old drive toward war torn Britain. With Voldemort dead and his Death Eaters scattered to the winds, Kingsley Shaklebolt had stepped out of the ashes as a leader to bring the Wizarding world back to the proud position it had once held. No one had expected what he was about to do. For three years Kingsley led the way in the reconstruction of wizarding society, but his mind was not as sound as he would have the world believe. For him there were two main issues that prevent the community from fully healing: low population and the dislike between those of pure and mixed blood. Kingsley fully believed that by correcting these issues he would be creating the perfect society. It was this desire of perfection that led to the introduction of the Kinglsey's marriage and family planning legislation. As of January 1st, 2002 the Decree of Marriage and Family Planning took effect. All unmarried citizens of legal age are now required to register their marital status with the Ministry as of their seventeenth birthday. Those who do not apply by the new laws are considered social terrorists. The cells of Azkaban now have new attendents. Those who do register in accordance with the decree can expect an official letter stating the time and place of their wedding, as well as the Ministry approved match. With the legislation all marriages are now a matter of Ministry approval. |

Welcome To New York's Upper East Side, Where we live and go to school and play and sleep - sometimes with each other. We all live in huge apartments with our own bedrooms and bathrooms and phone lines. We have unlimited access to money and booze and whatever else we want, and our parents are rarely home, so we have tons of privacy. We're smart, we've inherited classic good looks, we wear fantastic clothes, and we know how to party. Our shit still stinks, but you can't smell it because the bathroom is sprayed hourly by the maid with a refreshing scent made exclusively for us by French perfumers.
It's a luxe life, but someone's got to live it.

Life may not be all about fighting and war from here on, and the dangerous electricity in the air, lingering from the battles just months ago, does nothing to ruin the palpable feeling of relief and the promise for new beginnings. But the calms after storms are fickle things. Who knows how long this one will last? It’s a new age -- not perfect, but better. Some humans living in the city are fully aware about the creatures that come out at night. Others have no idea or simply choose not to believe in them. Naturally Vampires and Lycans can't go around killing each other left and right, it would cause chaos in the city. The vampires and werewolves came to an agreement centuries ago to remain civil for the sake of the others bloodline. Although this rule is heavily set in place some choose not to follow it. I am in search of a few specialised role plays. First, I am looking for a Harry Potter group that accepts non-canon characters and is set in the Marauder era. Also, if you're looking for a James Potter [age 16+], I might be able to fill that line.
Secondly, I am in need of a fantasy RP game that doesn't mind the PB used [i.e. if you use the face of a character from a video game or something similar].
And thirdly, does anyone need a Criss Angel PB? Hook it up, yo.

 For 40 years, representatives of the Colonial Fleet travelled to Armistice Station to meet with their Cylon enemies. For 40 years, the Cylons never showed. Over the years, the human representatives had come to believe that the Cylons would never arrive at Armistice Station, but they were wrong... It is now the year 21355. On the opposite side of Colonial space, a communications black out hit the Minerva Facility, a Cerberan Tylium Solutions outpost which branched out several years ago into Colonial Fleet salvage with the cooperation of the military. Light-years away from the home system, Minerva relied upon a network of communication relays, one of which was destroyed in the initial Cylon attack.  - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! hgwrts_carefree is an Epilogue Era Harry Potter role playing game. We do not recognize any pairings not listed specifically in the epilogue. That means you get a say in your characters linage as long as you are the first to pair those individuals. Do you have an OTP that wasn't specified in the books?
