| Quick Teaser. The island of Niihau is one of Hawaii's best kept secrets. Family owned, but uninhabited since the late 1960's. The Anderson family had purchased it in the 40's to open a school for Wayward Girls and Boys. But lack of funds closed the doors in 1968 and the island had been uninhabited ever since. This resorted in the island being taken over by the native Hawaiian wildlife. Now it's 2008 and the island is fixed up and the school is running once again. The rules are strict, but it's only to help the teenagers better their life, and its pure genius being on an island far away from any place, and not way and no where to run. |
