Let's Cruise is a thread-based PB community for original characters over the age of 18. All characters work for Serendipity Cruise Lines, either on an actual cruise ship or in the corporate office, which is located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. You are welcome to play characters in either or both locations, and all PBs are welcome. The game is now more than 9 months old and home to roughly 100 characters, but it still maintains an open and friendly environment, and though a handful of players have been around since the beginning, many more are new to the game since our move to IJ in January.  It's the end of the world as we know it. Will you be able to survive? It's the year 2013 and humans with superpowers are common place. The government had installed a registration program to keep track of these metahumans. Only problem was that most didn't take kindly to it. Banded together, metahumans rose up against the governments of the world and started a new world war. In a last ditch effort to win, the United States released a virus. The virus killed metahumans and humans alike. When the dust settled, only a small percentage of the world's population was left. Cities were left in ruin. Now it's up to those left to continue on and try to make a life out of what is left. Who will rise up to try and make a new world? Metas or humans? Humanity Lost is a post apocalypse roleplaying game that doesn't take place months or weeks after it happens but picks up in the direct aftermath. The group majority left standing are metahumans, humans with super human powers. If you like X-Men or other Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Heroes, The 4400, or other such fandoms, this rp might be for you. thechicago | macvarishTaariq An original space/sci-fi rp Mankind has found the key to the stars and the bounty space brings. If you have the technology and you have the courage to venture where the map has not yet been filled in there could be such treasures to discover, or horrors beyond anything you could fathom. Space ships are common, almost a third of the population own their own. Numerous planets and moons have been conquered and humans inhabit all quarters of their known universe. Alien species have been discovered but none with more intelligence than Earth’s great ape. Our journey begins with the Taariq on a conquering mission in a newly discovered asteroid belt searching for viable and useful minerals found in the asteroids. The belt is about six month’s journey of now other human settlements, of course there are always some ships around but basically there is no one else out there except for Captain McKenzie-Malone’s ship. There mission now is over and they’re heading back. Her little crew of discovers and manual laborers. However, they’re satisfactory job is distracted by the discovery of a drifting ship nearby. Completely off course and in a dire state on the point of exploding at any given moment it has already started to attract pirates and scavenger ships. Some of the escape pods unfortunately were sent towards the asteroid belt and most of the crew and traveling guests have been killed. Now there is just one last escape pod waiting to detach and the Taariq is on hand to pick any survivors up. So are you a survivor of Sophia74xa3Z? Or are you a member of the Taariq’s crew less than happy to have to share supplies for the next six month’s? Either way, your journey has only just begun and you will learn that patience is a virtue and parlor games a life savior. A very large supply of alcohol is also a good thing. Hogwarts is run by Slytherins and Purebloods while Halfbloods wear badges to mark them as different and Muggleborns are either in hiding or imprisoned. The hero of the age, Harry Potter, is on the run and the fact that he and his friends are still alive is all that keeps some people from going crazy. Not everything has gone wrong. The Order of the Phoenix is fighting back and doing what they can to help everyone, including creating a secret school in London where Muggleborns are hidden and taught. Ted Tonks plays the role of Secret Keeper. Then at Dumbledore's Army does their best to lift spirits and fight the anti-Muggle sentiments while things look to only be getting worse.
