Albus Dumbledore is dead at the hands of Draco Malfoy. Severus Snape did nothing to stop it. Can he be trusted? Or is he really one of them? As Snape desperately tries to convince Voldemort he can still be his spy within the Order, the Order attempts to stabilise its position within the school. McGonagall becomes Headmistress; Snape (to Voldemort's delight) becomes Deputy Headmaster; Kingsley become DADA professor; Tonks decides to teach transfiguration?!?! And the Order, as whole, desperately tries to convince one Harry Potter that he can accomplish whatever it is he needs to accomplish and still attend school. September 1st approaches. The returning 7th years are that much closer to NEWTs. That much closer to adulthood. That much closer to war. Who will live? Who will die? Who will Terry Boot ask to go to the Weird Sisters concert with him before school starts?! |

greatwhiteway Adds tonight and we still need the rest of the cast of Young Frankenstein:thebackstreets via streetmodskylinemod Adds later on tonight! - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team!  The Cure didn't work. So the government decided to step in and put it up a notch. The Mutant Registration Act was finally passed. All mutants are required to carry IDs stating their mutation or they would be arrested for breaking the law. Separate prisons were built for mutant criminals. The use of mutant powers in public not only incited riots, but now carries a minimum prison sentence of fifteen days. The great activist of mutant rights, Charles Xavier is dead. Erik Lensherr is back, powerful then ever, with a new Brotherhood of Mutants behind him. The future looks like a bleak place to be for mutants, but Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters flourishes under Ororo Munroe, the new Headmistress. She, along with the mutant only known as Logan, educate the young mutants of tomorrow and provide a beacon of hope to the mutant community. Xtended: An X-Men RPG is a movieverse game that pick up where X-Men: The Last Stand, left off. But apparently, no one did. Not until it was much too late. In 2010, following several years of international unrest, the President of the United States agreed to meet with a potentially-hostile foreign dictator over dinner to discuss the possibility of smoothing relations between the two countries. It seemed as if it would be a very low-key event, with both men standing down most of their active guards in order to show that they came to the meeting in peace. Unfortunately, all things went horribly awry faster than anyone could’ve guessed. Both leaders were kidnapped and assassinated by infiltrators in the foreign palace. The US Vice President was rushed to power, and called an emergency session of Congress to discuss the next best course of action. Apparently, however, the enemy was expecting this. The bombings took place right in the middle of the congressional session, destroying the entirety of Washington, D.C. and large portions of the surrounding area. The people of America were shocked. Within moments, nearly every important governmental figure in the country was dead. Who was in charge now? Did anybody know? There were a few Senators and Representatives that hadn’t made the special session, but they had (wisely) gone into hiding for fear of their lives. [read more] |

Boys and girls come from all over the country (and in a few cases, the world), to receive a first rate education. At least, that's what the brochures say. The truth is, The Sutton Academy has become more of a 24-7 babysitter for rich kids rather than a school. The price tag is high, but it's a rarity that kids fail out, or get kicked out of Sutton, something their parents know when they sign their checks each year. |

The character will be the ex boyfriend (and possibly future boyfriend again) for my Christina Aguilera PB. There is a lot of dark history as well as some good and he is the father of her son. It's the end of the world as we know it. Will you be able to survive? It's the year 2013 and humans with superpowers are common place. The government had installed a registration program to keep track of these metahumans. Only problem was that most didn't take kindly to it. Banded together, metahumans rose up against the governments of the world and started a new world war. In a last ditch effort to win, the United States released a virus. The virus killed metahumans and humans alike. When the dust settled, only a small percentage of the world's population was left. Cities were left in ruin. Now it's up to those left to continue on and try to make a life out of what is left. Who will rise up to try and make a new world? Metas or humans? Humanity Lost is a post apocalypse roleplaying game that doesn't take place months or weeks after it happens but picks up in the direct aftermath. The group majority left standing are metahumans, humans with super human powers.  - Contacts (F-Lock) Crime, war, and politics are what society of the year 2014 is over-ruled by. The American culture, violent as it is, has become a breeding ground for the world’s harshest criminals. Both the beginning and ending of a revolution of what was the building blocks of the once great nation; of the start of freedom of thought, control, and of what most would hope…peace. Instead, marital law is what the country is dictated by. Freedom of voice, opinion, and of one’s own state of mind is all ruled by the government; the nation’s peoples lives seemingly forever stuck in their political heads constant state of flux. As it stands, the ‘great’ nation is stuck in a constant state of civil war. Not by soldiers, but by those who rule the streets and even more so…those who rule the night. Every step out the door is a step further into the loss of innocence and deeper into a war not many want to be involved in. Humans, or most of them at the very least, haven’t the slightest notion of the ‘beasts’ that are commonly used in horror movies that walk about them. Prowling, hunting, striving to win a war that has been occurring since the dawn of time. Not only that, but striving to survive along with the drastically changing times. The ‘civil war’ is only seen as a cover to them. Something that they can use to justify their actions with the opposing side; as such, vampires and werewolves are seen nothing more then dangerously large street gangs, their respect and good names tarnished by the belittling thought of this. Still, those who rule over night remain as they always have. Or so they seem to believe as such. As the wars wage on, those higher up on the mortal chain of command have come along the knowledge of the things that have been waging their private war for ages. Those who know nothing of what’s been occurring since their ancestors have not only decided upon not informing the public of their nightmarish neighbors, but using the public force of their hand to join the ‘gang war’ of vampires and were-creatures. An action both foreign and unwelcome by both sides; however, this has only made the number of causalities greater. In the public eye, vampire covens and were-creature packs or any large collection of such is normally seen as a public hostel. Attracting little or no attention from prying eyes by using ‘conventional’ occupations as their cover to blend in with the throes of society. To keep themselves under the radar more or less as they have done for centuries and continue to do as such.
