Play as any European nationality or an American observer, as a poet, politician or aristocrat. Even a serving maid. Will your character escape France and resettle in England or will they help French aristos to escape? Will they betray their ex-employers or will they risk all to keep them safe?
Toujours Libérer will be opening April 19th. When the community opens officially there will be a chance for characters to interact, alliances to be made and duels to be fought at The Ambassador's Ball
The game is open to players 18 and over, and is an original game set in Revolutionary France.
Toujours Libérer Character Wishlist
We would dearly love some revolutionaries, some servants, and some non-French characters. Some foppish poets, some soldiery, disillusioned priests, maids, criminals, and other characters along these lines would also be welcome. We have a full quota of female mistresses and female prostitutes and so will not be excepting any more of these sorts of character.

Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! We're Currently Looking for: CAPTAIN JOHN, GWEN, RHYS, other Canon characters from Torchwood, Doctor Who or Sarah Jane Adventures, people for the Torchwood Teams, Civilians, Aliens, Bad Guys, and more! |

You are welcome to play characters in either or both locations, and all PBs are welcome. The game is now more than 9 months old and home to roughly 100 characters, but it still maintains an open and friendly environment, and though a handful of players have been around since the beginning, many more are new to the game since our move to IJ in January. "They live in a secret world, hidden behind the veil of lies and misconceptions. They look like us, talk like us work, eat, and sleep all in the manner like we do. But they are not one of us. They are dark and evil, and it is up to us to stop them. If we fail, who knows what the fate of humanity might be. But I know one thing, for all that I am able to do, for my part, my soul, my family and their future, I will not rest until I send every last unnatural, unholy creature to the depths of hell they came from." Jeremiah Valdon, Vampire Hunter and Protector of Humanity. not_honest is an original supernatural RPG that is just beginning and looking for creative and mature RPers. The focus of this game is not just the supernatural, but the world around them - the humans who move about in the world without knowledge of what lies beneath. Must be 18 to play. |
Shelby, California, nestled at the foot of the San Bernadino Range, was once a widely populous town. Countless people migrated to the place in 1850 as a result of the Gold Rush fever spreading throughout the state. The game is set to open on May 1, 2008. Application, Guidelines, Taken, Wanted |
GAME × OOC × MOD PLOT × RULES × APPLICATION AVAILABLE × TAKEN × PBs QUIDDITCH × BIRTHDAYS × HANDWRITING CONTACTS × FRIENDS × BACK COMM IN THE 1970s, the wizarding world saw the rise of Lord Voldemort, fearsome leader of the movement to eradicate muggles and muggle-borns from the world. The first five years of Voldemort's active stage were relatively quiet though. Very few actually knew an uprising of the purist movement was coming soon - and in the most extreme of ways. Towards the middle of the decade, he and his Death Eaters came more into the forefront, staging attacks on the muggle and wizarding worlds alike. No witch or wizard could believe what was happening. Not since the time of Grindelwald had such havoc been wrought on their world, let alone to the muggles as well. However, life goes on. People get married, have children, continue living their lives, even with the constant threat over their heads. Students continue to attend Hogwarts and learn, fight, and fall in love. The fifth years prepare for their O.W.L.s. As they hurdle toward their exams, stress, along with the sparks of conflicting ideas, put strains on students and the relationships they hold, particularly one of Lily Evans and Severus Snape. The pinnacle moment of the breaking of their friendship was talked about for months afterwards. Severus Snape called his best friend a Mudblood in a moment of humilation and anger, causing the demise of their friendship, and putting into motion the events and actions that would eventually lead to the death of Lily and James Potter and baby Harry Potter destroying Voldemort the first time. But... what if it had not happened? What if James had not approached Severus and found something else to direct his attention towards? Would things have been different? Could it have changed the course of history or would Lily and James marry still and have the saviour of the wizarding world? Only time can tell. Death Eaters are infiltrating Hogwarts by recruiting students within, student's families are being torn apart, and the world is spiraling into a war based on bloodlines. Through all of this, how will Hogwarts students lead their lives? Where will their loyalties fall as they are forced to choose between joining Voldemort or defying him? One thing is certain though: They will feel like they are not in control of their own destinies. |
LUNAR CHANGES Species Information x Rules x App x Held x Cast x Wanted In a world over run with humans, those who stalk the night have only one rule: Keep the secret. For centuries, shape shifters, vampires, and witches have remained largely undected. There were always legends, stories that were unavoidable when supernaturals spent their lives rubbing shoulders with humans. These tales were, and still are, mostly considered to be fantastical amusement, the stuff of low budget horror films. Despite the fact that these legends spanned the generations, few humans truly believed that such creatures existed. On both sides of the line, this was for the better. Better for the humans to practice bliss in ignorance, and better for the things that go bump in the night to survive. A silent harmony was established between the species. As long as the stuff of legends remained that way, the other had no reason to suspect. However, under the very noses of the humans, a timeless battle raged. In all the major cities throughout the world, various races battle for control. Werewolf packs now own New York and London, while Werecat prides stake their claim to Cairo and Los Angeles, and Witch covens rule Dublin, Boston, Brighton, and Salem. Yet, it is the Vampire clans that hold the most power in the world, running cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, and San Francisco. Despite what they already have, each group wants more and will use their people to get it, whether their people want to be a part of the war or not. Continued... |
