I bring you Peter Petrelli just figured I'd warn he is current through season 2 so all entries to the main community will be cut if it contains spoilers, but left uncut in his journal. I won't get into much here about where he is or anything for that reason.

He's open for rp and talking to people but those too will most likely be spoilerish. I figure this would be a good place to put this so if no one wants spoiled they can avoid talking to him.

I've compiled a list of my personal favorite places to get icons for RP journals. If anyone has any others they'd like me to add, please comment here!

I'm sorry to announce that I have decided to withdraw from this community. Of late, my muses--Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn--have wanted to respond to all of the prompts in the exact same way, i.e. "I am letting it go into the Force. Now leave it alone." I believe that means it is time to let the characters go, even though there are some fine role-playing opportunities to be had, especially with the Xanatos character. I regret that we have held him back with that for so very long. Also, I regret that the plotline that I and my role-playing partner started before Padmé entered the game made her mun uncomfortable. Hopefully this will free everyone up a tad, including ourselves.

Thank you for the opportunity to join this community. I enjoyed it very much. I shall remain here and on the other communities for a few days so I can answer any comments that might come my way.

May the Force be with you.

PS. This journal will soon be converted to other purposes very shortly, so those that no longer want to read it may want to remove it from their friendlist.

So, myself and havocthecat both got pretty busy in the last couple of months and we let some things slide with the communities.

To help us get back on our feet and make sure that there is no more sliding, we've added kajivar and lithium to the mod team. We're working out details of who is going to handle what, but rest assured that we are all committed to keeping this community going.

Of course, we need your help to make sure that we're doing everything we can to make your experiences enjoyable.

Okay, I surrender. I'm sure the details explaining what the RP setting is are posted somewhere, but I positively cannot locate them. Can anyone help me out?

So sorry for the disappearing act this week.

I traveled last weekend and then ended up with a nasty cold, which I've been battling all week. I didn't even think about the fact that I missed a weekly prompt until Friday and I just haven't been spending much time at the computer.

To avoid future occurrances like this, kajivar is going to be added as a maintainer and will be able to share the prompting (and other) duties.

There will be another prompt tomorrow, on schedule.

if Voices is going to carry on, at all? Will there be any new prompts forthcoming?

Hello All! A few announcements:

1. All muses applied for in the last week have been added and approved. Please check your invites for the main community. Also please join this community with either your character journal, your mun journal or both. If you want to join with your mun journal, please make sure you tell me here. You can also join voices_rp with your character journal(s) if you so desire.

2. The Claimed Character list has been updated. A few muses have been removed already due to player inactivity. More will be coming in the following weeks. I will contact people before pulling their muses. If you need a hiatus or if you have a muse you know you'd like to drop, please comment here or send an email to voices.mods@gmail.com.

3. I'd still love to have someone design a header/icon/buttons for our community. I know there have to be some graphically talented writers out there!!

1. All apps that were received in the last week have been processed and you should have invites for the main community waiting. You need to request to join voices_carry (and may also join this comm with your mun journal if you wish) and you may join voices_rp if you wish (character journals only).

2. Muses are all on a first come, first served basis. Thus far, we've only had a few occasions where the same muse has been apped by multiple people in the same week. Additionally, we reserve the right to reject muse applications if there are critical errors in them (ex: mis-spelling a character name, etc).

If you are using an unconventional spelling of a character name from a canon source that is not popularly known, please indicate that in your application.

3. The claimed character list is up to date. We will be checking for inactivity this week, so if you have not posted with your muses and not notified us of your need for a hiatus, you may lose your muses. The friending list will be updated this evening.

4. Would any of you graphically inclined folks like to create a layout/default icon/userinfo button for Voices?

Hello Padme-Mun!

My partner and I snagged Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Qui-Gon back at the start of the community. Since then, your character has been mentioned fairly often. That's pretty understandable, I think, given that the Anakin in question is married to her and having an affair with a willfully ignorant Obi-Wan. She just never showed up until now!

My question is this: are you going to jump into the havoc? I keep picturing the look on Anakin's face if Padme arrived at the hotel. It'd be half joy and half dread. After all, he's been trying to send Padme a comm for some time with no luck, and she might have been worried enough to come find him...

The RP could be delicious.

Ben here is from the show Dark Angel, and yes is AU. He wasn't dead when Manticore came and they took him back, sent him through Psy-ops trying to compare him to his clone (twin) Alec (X5-494) and fixed him best they could before manticore was taken down. He's open for RP and I understand if he is not acknowledged by anyone in the DA fandom. *S* This is for my fun and experimentation.

If anyone does want to speak with him feel free to do so.

If you're familiar with ljlogin, the extension for Firefox, then you'll probably want ijlogin. You can find it at ijlogin.

"IJlogin will -- once the last bugs are ironed out -- work just like LJlogin, but for InsaneJournal instead of LiveJournal. IJlogin will play nicely with LJlogin, so you can have both add-ons installed at the same time.

Note that IJlogin is currently very new and somewhat buggy. It is functional and works with Firefox 2.0.0.5+, though."
