Hello,

I just wanted to post that I will be busy moving my life half way across the country (driving) for the next three days, and have been packing for the last three... so excuse my absence. Once I get settled back in for school, I'll be around more often, and will be able to write the fantastic man that is Church.

Sucks that this came right when I joined.

Hey guys!

Sorry this is a few days after Jenny's announcement, but I was in the middle of the first half of my move and finally home and re-settled once more. Move went fantastically, btw, and I can't wait to actually be in my flat! I first of all wanted to say that I'm insanely thrilled to be handed the reigns of Vas and I know Shannon and Alma are equally as excited. There isn't going to be any massive changes as, frankly, Vas is amazing as it is and I want to continue with the wonderful world Jenny and Jen have crafted for us.

The one major change is that day change will occur earlier on Fridays. I know many of us work (myself included) and it's hard waiting up so late to get a day change. However, keeping with the ever-changing nature of Vas, the time of the day change may vary slightly. It will, however, always be between 7-10pm on Friday. :^D

You'll notice a few posts going up shortly in the Mod journal -- and there will be a navigation post given for ease of finding things. These posts will include:

1. Hiatus post -- we totally understand when RL creeps up, so if you know you're going to be away, just let us know!
2. Potential Experiment Ideas -- this is your game as much as it is ours and we do want your input in things. If you have an idea for a game-wide experiment, something specific to your character or even something specific to someone ELSE's character, it'll go here. Comments will be screened so it'll still be a surprise for everyone else. :^)
3. Modly Drop Box -- also will have comments screened. If none of us are online, you're welcome to drop a comment with suggestions/comments/telling us how much you love us... whatever floats your boat.
4. Drop Character Post -- so that it's easy for us to keep track of when a character departs, we'll institute a dropped character post. As a reminder, characters dropped do go on the unplayable list!

Next week there will be an activity check. A reminder as per the rules that every character must post both a journal and a thread for each game day. More is always welcome, of course, but the minimum must always be met by each character in play. The activity checks have been lax, but we are resuming them. So don't make me have to be the bad mod -- just be active and you'll make all of us happy campers.

Have no fear, there will be an awards ceremony for the last game days -- once I get photoshop reinstalled on the new laptop! And we'll have some changes in how those will be run but this mod post is long enough as it is.

In short, I'm excited to be taking over Vas and am going to attempt to make the transition as smooth as humanly possible. We three mods have already been hard at work drafting up new experiments and ideas for everyone and we know you'll love what we've come up with.
