Hey guys - I fail at life. I'm so wrapped up in trying to keep up with the threads I have open, I wouldn't want to drag out the Poker thread. So, for those who replied with interest we can either pretend that it happened on the night of day 6; or, we can try and do something for day 7.

So I'm done with finals (THANK GOD), about done packing (blegh), and my small intestine doesn't hurt me like it did before (yay meds!) Sooo this means I'm back! :) Yay I missed all of you guys.

Weather Forecast

21° with winds up to 30mph. Cloudy with snow showers throughout the day, accumulating between 12-14 inches. At night, clear skies and 16° with wind chills reaching the single digits and an additional accumulation of 18-36 inches. This would bring the total snowfall accumulation for the past two days from 24-64 inches (approximately two to five feet of snow), and with the inclusion of the winds, there would be many drifts. It is possible, depending on the foundation of the buildings, that some characters get snowed in entirely due to the severe weather. The gym, the thrift store, and the barn would absolutely be a problem, for example, whereas the buildings like the church, theater, and museum (which are built with stairs leading to their doors) and split level buildings like the clock tower may not, depending on how the snow drifts build against the buildings.

Experiments

There are still plenty of deer, small woodland animals, and a fair few Weevils roaming the forest (The Weevils, only at night, sleeping during the day). Tonight, a few hours after sun down, this symbol will appear in the sky. For those unfamiliar with what it is, it'll simply perhaps be unsettling, but for those familiar with the Dark Mark, it would be significantly moreso.

Inventory

The gas station/convenience store now has an added convenience. Sometime during the night, a new airtight cooler complete with glass display door has been added. In said cooler a lucky person or group would note that the entire 5 foot tall, 2 foot deep and 3 foot wide space is full with blocks of beautiful, brown, ready to roll and smoke marijuana. There is over 100lbs of the good stuff and it's first come, first served. The cooler is, however, padlocked and booby-trapped to shoot tiny bits of metal shrapnel at anyone within 10 feet of the cooler if it is tampered with or the glass broken. Have fun.
