I was told that I did not pass a "vibe check" today as I gave my advanced students a pop quiz. As they take said quiz, I have decided to take this as the compliment that I have to assume it was not meant to be.

I have been thinking forward to fall, largely because I wanted to consider lesson plans and the like, just to be fully prepared. My thinking led me to wondering if I may not let you inspire me and perhaps I go a different path? I had not intended on teaching long-term as I had not expected to enjoy it as I do, but I know that my forte lies within research and I do far less of it while I am on a teaching schedule.

All that to say, my thoughts being that I resign at the end of the year and focus my attention at home, between the children, the lab, and other endeavors. It would be an end to that particular form of income, but I did not think that to be a true problem for us.

My primary trick was to Telekinesis away whatever he was reaching for at any point in time.

I think that I am sure, yes. In truth, I cannot help but think of where my life was headed in Vallo and I rather relish the thought of a slower, more stable life. Teaching did not lend to a fast or unstable life here in Vallo, but I like the thought of having more time with you and the children, as well as to focus on my research and podcast with Blue.

But we will absolutely have to figure out counterarguments for Kir in advance.

I think that I have had enough of that hobby. For now, at least. Perhaps we should have occasional check-ins, just to be safe.

I wish you luck in that resolve, because I have more or less given up on both fronts myself. I appreciate you and your support, as well. That I have both means a great deal.
