Well, this wasn't exactly what I had planned for my morning. I thought the involuntary universe hopping part of my life was over? But I guess Vallo decided otherwise.

Anyway, hi out there! I'm Kara. I already found this amazing bagel cart, which is a pretty great way to start off in a new world if you ask me. Now, if someone can point me in the direction of where I can get the best potstickers (preferably in bulk), I think I'm set for day one!

	There are certainly things and people I miss, it I’ve got a very good life here that I’d never trade for it. I’m good at being adaptable, so I settled in fairly quickly. Sounds like you might also be good at adapting to the unexpected. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Not at all. I work a few jobs, the Defense team, as a personal trainer, and occasionally helping look after a tea shop that arrived here from my home world. I have a beautiful fiancée that I met here, we just bought our first house, and have a teenaged superhero that we try to keep tabs on.

Speaking of my fiancée, Carol, I imagine you’ll probably run into her before long. She took over running Al’s after your sister left. It was always our favourite spot to unwind.

No wonder you and Alex got along so well - she always likes to be crazy busy, too. Congratulations on the fiancée and the house! And a teenage superhero? I'm not sure if that's something to be congratulated on, but it definitely sounds like a handful. Are you used to handling superheroes?

Great! I'm planning on dropping in soon to see what's going on! I'm still wrapping my mind around Alex running Al's, but she must have trusted the two of you a lot to leave it in your hands.

Merlin, no. I didn’t even know superheroes existed in real life before I turned up here. But when I started a relationship with one, I had to start learning. I mainly let Carol help with the superheroing bit. I help out with the other teenage girl aspects.

I’ll look forward to getting to chat with you in person! And if you need help with anything at all while you’re getting settled, or even after, I’m just a message away.
