Well, this wasn't exactly what I had planned for my morning. I thought the involuntary universe hopping part of my life was over? But I guess Vallo decided otherwise.

Anyway, hi out there! I'm Kara. I already found this amazing bagel cart, which is a pretty great way to start off in a new world if you ask me. Now, if someone can point me in the direction of where I can get the best potstickers (preferably in bulk), I think I'm set for day one!

We were. When she didn't have you to fret over, she decided to fret over me and it wasn't necessary but it was Alex, so.

I'm dropping coordinates to your device for the place she liked. [...] And I think L-Corp is still around? Lena left it for some locals to run since she rented a lot of office space to them. They had a cat, too. She's currently in a foster home.

That's my Alex. She's better at focusing on herself now, but she's always been my protector. It's so sweet of you to let her fret over you, I'm sure that helped her more than you even know.

Yep. I've been to the penthouse a few times but it's the top level of the building. They were dating, too, so it's probably a good thing they disappeared from Vallo together.

Definitely can. Her name's Mermista but I just call her Merms, and I pay her a visit a few times a month. The people that have her have taken in pets from Outlanders that disappear and hold them in case their original owners return.

If you end up wanting her I'm sure they'd be okay with it? No pressure, though.

Mermista is surprisingly cutesy for an Alex-and-Lena pet, but I love it! I'm glad she's in a good home that can take care of her with them gone.

Maybe? I haven't had a pet in years, but I did sort of adopt this stray I named Streaky when Alex and I were teenagers. I'll have to see how she is; I don't want to uproot her if she's in a place where she's happy.

Oh! Uh. They didn't name her. It's kind of a weird story that involves a witch warping reality and some of us kind of got some alternate universe life thing and it aired on TV and




God I need coffee to explain this. I'll have to do it in person. Anyway, yeah, like I said - no pressure. She's pretty aloof.
