Jin Ling and I have located a tunnel in a cliff face by the mountains. The creatures are emerging from this point. It is almost completely hidden, but now that we know where it is we can find it again.

We have mutually agreed that it would be dangerous to try and cave the entrance in without assistance.

That would be a responsible first step, so as to both protect Vallo at large and also not recreate any moments of getting absorbed in texts before being snuck up on by an actual Asborber.

I am worried some kind of chamber was opened or a new ward of experiments has been unleashed, but it is also possible this is just out of time and place.

That is a legitimate concern. There was so much we had yet to uncover, so who is to say what Vallo might have brought here.

If it is a piece of Aeor, we may have to go in ourselves and see what we can recover in time. There is obviously the chance that they will simply blow the whole thing to pieces if it stops the hunters from emerging.

That is a very good point. The longer that things linger and the hunters continue to cause issues, the more likely they will jump to that conclusion. So yes, absolutely, I think we will need to go in ourselves, sooner rather than later. How are you on spells today?

I would say rocks, ice, and snow would be common for a cave in the mountains, but you must have a creature filled one in your world?

It may just be a normal cave, ja, but the monsters are already from our world and the area they come from is much like that. Though it is-- an incredibly large area back home.

It is not all underground in our world, but some parts are. A very long time before I was born, there was a floating city called Aeor. It was the height of arcane power, only it uh- crashed, leaving behind a large area of ruins in the snow and winter. The monsters are aeorian hunters, they were created by the scientists of Aeor, just experiments to fight anyone that might oppose them. It is possible an experimental chamber was opened somewhere in there.

I would recommend we locate it and shut it down to not risk it just opening again and causing more issues, but Essek and I have dealt with their chambers in the past.

So we'll need a team to go into the caves to hold off monsters while it gets shut down. Do you know how to shut it down entirely? And how long it takes?

That is what I would recommend. Essek and I were able to shut down the time travel chamber that was there but it was not just pushing buttons, it had to be destroyed. So big enough bombs and magic should do it if the monsters are coming from an experimental chamber.
