In a couple of days it will have been five months that I've been here in Vallo and while I know a lot of you have been here way longer, it's definitely the longest I have been settled in one place in a very long while. Where does the time go?

BELLS HELLS

Hey, I meant to mention this earlier, but with the wedding and now the race prep and everything else, it just got a bit lost in the shuffle. Last week, I helped a ~~girl~~ ~~young lady--no~~ new arrival that I came across while I was on my patrol. Her name is Fig and she's pretty young, I think, a tiefling, and a bit surprised about being here, which I think we can all relate to.

Anyway, she has some friends here, but because she's younger, I thought that I'd check in on her just to make sure she's eating and settling in okay. She might brush me off, but in case she doesn't, do any of you have any idea how to talk to a teenager?

	I think it's pretty harmless with her, but it is a worry that I've never thought of before. A code word is probably easier than asking the person to tell us something only they'd know in the heat of the moment. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Yeah, I'm still working through all of Fabian's suggestions, though, and trying to find things for my bedroom since apparently Mordred Manor came through with none of my stuff in it?? That happens sometimes, but things show up all the time--which I guess you know, if your house is here. Hopefully you'll find some stuff soon. Though, my friend, the same Laudna I mentioned before, might be a good person to talk to about that. She fixed up and furnished the place we're living in now and did a great job.

Only about a week or so, but some have gone home since and others haven't arrived yet at all. It's a hard thing to predict.

Ah, well, my friends are the sort that make it hard for you to not connect with them, which I really appreciate. They're real friendly. I spent a lot of the last handful of years by myself, so I've been relearning how to let people in.

Oh boy. I'm always willing to try something new, but I've never tried much with music. Dorian plays the lute, among other things, and we talked about him teaching me that, but maybe if I just try a few one is bound to stick?
