My dear friends,
My apologies for not getting in touch with all of you sooner; this week has been quite a lot, though none of it bad. As you may have seen, Temeraire arrived in Vallo on Monday. We've since discovered that one of the coverts from home has also come through, and I've nearly finished moving all my things to the rooms there.
I will be spending the next little while making preparations, but should any of you wish to visit the covert, our coordinates are [coordinates].
[Brigitte]
Brigitte,
I hope you are well; I saw that you recently lost more friends recently. I was somewhat acquainted with Mrs. Lehnsherr, and she'll be missed. I hope the timing of this message isn't too poor.
I'm afraid I've little notion of whether you work with leather alongside all your other skills, but I was wondering if I, when last I was here with Temeraire, had you work up a harness for him, and if not, if you would like to take on the project. If this is something outside of your skill set, I would trust entirely whatever recommendation you might give me.
Yr obt svt,
Wm Laurence
[Ignis]
Mr. Scientia,
I hope this finds you well. As you may already be aware, Temeraire has recently arrived in Vallo. I was hoping to cook him something special, but I'm afraid that even with all your tutelage, I find myself quite out of my depth.
I recall Temeraire once being served what seemed like a stuffed sheep - the insides had all minced with other ingredients and dressed back in the skins. I'd like to provide him with something similar in presentation if not flavour: I believe I recall the thing being sweet, and I'd not like to risk ruining the flavour by attempting some sort of dessert.
I'd like to ask for your assistance in the matter, though I understand that you've likely even less experience cooking for dragons than even I do; I'm sure I can work something up on my own if need be.
My thanks,
Wm Laurence

Beloved,
There is a holiday back home, called St. Valentine's Day on the 14th of February, where lovers, suitors, and admirers would exchange cards and gifts to show their affection. It seems as though the tradition is observed here as well.
I would like very much for you to accompany me for dinner on the day, if you're able.
I remain
Your Will Laurence
