I have the sudden urge to donate an exorbitant amount to reliable and respectable news sources and journalism programs. Does any one have any recommendations as to which programs and/or news outlets should be on the receiving end?

[Separate but identical messages sent to Elsa, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, and Kara]

I'm so sorry. I (quite naively) didn't realize that my personal relationships would be dragged into the spotlight so handedly as my company became more public. If there is anything that I can do to ease your mind in regards to this issue, I'd be happy to do it.

I understand your cynicism, but I’m not quite there yet. I believe there is certainly good to be had from those in news media.

Congrats. How's the world look like when you keep your head buried in the sand all the time?

Cute. Quite incorrect, though. By saying I’m burying my head in the sand, you’re implying that I still look for good things to come out of our free press because of willful ignorance, or cowardice. I’d assert that cynicism is much more cowardly than choosing to believe in something. It’s certainly easier.

And it's soooo much harder to just naively believe that the world is good? To not think for ten seconds and see just how bad it is? You're right, I'm the coward here.

I don't believe that the world is good. It's not. But I believe that people are good. Not all of them, no, but some. And as I said before, I choose to believe this. A naive person lacks experience and doesn't know any better. I've experienced plenty, and I certainly know just how this world can be. And, yes - this choice is hard.

What you're doing, by writing everyone and everything off, is living in fear. Hoping in something and being wrong is scary. I understand why many people choose to let their fear dictate their actions, but I choose not to.

Give me a fucking break, oh my god. Preach to someone who gives a shit and lives in your same little fantasy world.

Let's recap: You commented on my post, minimized my world view by implying it was ignorant and flat out saying that it was naive, and, when I explain why I disagree, you try the end the conversation by acting as if I am bothering you. Fascinating.

I bet you spend a lot of time on the internet. You fit right in.

I think I'll let you figure that out yourself.
