None of the flyers I posted around town seemed to be getting any attention, so I thought I'd advertise here.

Looking for members to join a 3 piece punk band. I've got lead guitar down, just need a drummer and bassist. Name's already picked out: White Silk Chinchillas. Totally non-negotiable. Hit me up.

Right? It's totally the best name. It just came to me one night in the middle of labwork. Like a sign from God. You know, if I believed in any of that crap.

I know there's a few punk bands that do have stand-up basses in them, but they're usually bigger outfits than a three piece. Can you get your hands on a bass by this weekend? Doesn't have to be a good one, just has to play. I mean how much could you have forgotten since Jr. High, right?

Wait, how old are you?

	Oh yeah? What kind of labwork do you do? I probably could if I talked to my old director. I'm eighteen. Also, I'm kinda in a wheelchair. I don't stand for the bass, but I sit in the middle of it so I can reach. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Biochemistry professor. I'm working on artificial tissue replication. Sort of like cloning, but not exactly the same idea. At least not the direction I'm taking it.

~~Whew. Thought I was about to have a minor on my hands. Not gonna be that creep in a band with minors~~

A wheelchair, huh? Well, that shouldn't be a problem if you can reach all the way up the neck. Providing you can still play well enough.

Well, I'm not really looking to clone an entire human; I'm really only interested in replacing appendages that have been cut off. I was looking at lizards and thought, hey, if they can do it, why can't we? Just trying to help evolution along without having us turn into giant lizard people.

	I didn't figure you were since you said tissue which is very specific. There are people who are looking at cell regeneration in nematodes and what the trade off is in short life spans. Sounds good.
