WHO: Aphrodite, Ares, and Bunny Munro Jr.
WHAT: Bunny is moving in with the gods...
WHERE: Teague's place, then the HOUSE OF THE GODS!!!1!11!

Bunny is sitting outside on the steps of Teague's house, waiting. Everything he owns is in his lap or on his body: a new winter coat, one new outfit under it, a change of clothes in a bag, and an encyclopedia that will never really replace the one his mother gave him that was destroyed in the car crash that killed his father not two weeks ago, but it serves its purpose as distraction and escape.
He's nervous. It shows in how he taps his feet all over the place as he sits and waits. He reads his encyclopedia to distract himself from the fear that keeps catching in his throat. He's going to live somewhere new. He likes Teague and Bren but he knows they can't keep him. He likes Lilo a lot but he knows -- or hopes -- he'll see her at school, like he'll see CeeVee and Gabriel and maybe Gabriel's friend Henry. In the past month, his life has been turned so many ways inside out and upside down it's a wonder he still remembers his own name, he thinks. He's lost both his parents. He's found a few friends he can't live with or stay with. And now he's going to go live with gods. Real gods. Gods can be as real as ghosts, he reasons, and that's almost a comfort to him, because his mom and dad are ghosts now.

What: Mother and Son talking, Best Friend to Best Friend talking and babysitting

Warnings: Shouldn't be.
Psyche turned off her computer and pinched the bridge of her nose. Melpomene was very upset, not nearly as much as Dite, but still distressed. Part of being The Soul, was knowing when her souls were happy, sad, and hurting, and right now, Aphrodite and Melpomene were extremely loud in her head. Top that off with all this screaming? And yeah, she had a headache. She wanted to curl up next to Anteros and sleep until this all went away, but she'd promised Mel she'd be there with her.
Standing, she smoothed her dress down over her belly, taking comfort from her child before she left the bedroom to find Anteros. |

Aphrodite didn't have far to look as she searched Ares out in their home - she'd known him since he was born, after all, and by now knew his habits well enough - there were only a few places she needed to look, and she got it right on the first try. With a light knock on the door, she stepped into his study, offering a small smile.
"Hey, love. Can we talk?"
She half hoped he'd say no... it was not a discussion she wanted to have. She finally realized what it meant to have butterflies in one's stomach... and she didn't even bother trying to explain away the feeling by blaming it on the baby.

Aphrodite had left the note as promised for Robbie's mother, though it wasn't nearly so kind as he might have expected, and scooped the child up. With a smile, she placed her hand lightly over his eyes, and transported them both back to the complex in North Korea, letting her hand drop away so he could take in the opulent surroundings. "Home sweet home, cupcake... let's see if Ares is home, and you can meet him... he's going to adore you."

Ares knocked on Dite's dressing room door and waited for her to let him in. The single red rose in his hand gave off a sweet fragrance. He was dressed in a black tuxedo, with the full on cummerbund and bowtie.

Warnings: Oh yes.
An nearly empty bottle of wine crashed into the ten other bottles of wine placed into a triangle shape on the other side of the room.
"STRIKE!" Psyche drunk giggled as glass flew all over her hard wood floor. A wave of her hand had ten more empty bottles arranging themselves amid the wreckage. She looked around for another one to throw, but only found full ones.
"Oh, well. Guess I gotta finish another one!" Uncorking a new one, she collapsed into an oversized chair all limp limbed from the alcohol. Now, Anteros just needed to get here. They could bowl together! |

Who: Aphrodite and Antigone
What: First meeting, as far as Aphrodite is concerned.
When/Where: Sunday, 11ish. Mediterranean Cafe, NYC
Warnings: oh dear lord no.
She was, as she usually was, late for the brunch she'd set up with Anne. She had to admit, her curiosity was getting the better of her in this case... the idea that Hermes had a child she didn't know about was practically unfathomable... he was always the most reluctant father. Still, both Hermes and Ares had confirmed it, so she could only imagine they were in fact telling the truth. It was the only time they ever agreed on things, really. The fact that this girl knew her was also intriguing. While she had a habit of forgetting the...well, forgettable, Aphrodite doubted this girl fell into this category. Demigods rarely did.
Appearing just outside the Cafe, she stepped in and held her hand up to silence the host's inevitable fawning, looking around first to see if her guest had arrived. |
