Why: Tony finds out Pepper's been here all along and wants to see her.

It was as if a veil had been lifted off of his eyes ever since Remy had spoken those words.  Pepper had been here in this universe for a long time now, was even pregnant with his other self's baby, which was technically his as well, and it immensely gnawed at his mind.  He'd had his mind wiped?  He'd been on the verge of a divorce because of Pepper and his love for her?  All of this was news to him, and Tony honestly didn't know how to react to all of it.  He'd run the gamut of emotions: anger, frustration, sadness and elation.  But what was he supposed to do?

Only one thing he could do.  He had to go and see her for himself.  Just because he didn't trust himself, he'd take the baby with him, and secretly, he wanted Pepper to see his son.  The one that could have easily been hers had it been a different time.

When Remy returned, he was waiting for her in the den, though he'd fallen asleep on the couch, his body outstretched across it with Ant just as sound asleep as him, the baby quietly sucking on his thumb with Tony's hand resting on back.  Tony had dozed off while watching television to keep his mind occupied after feeding Ant.  

He didn't even look peacefully asleep, either.  Tony looked conflicted or worried, even as he slept, though it wasn't a wonder what with everything that had to be running through his head at the moment.

She almost giggled at the fact that they came the same way, it was just a little amusing, not that she minded of course. She panted, out of breath clearly and sank back down onto the couch fully. Letting him lay on top of her, she smirked a bit, "Oh yeah definitely every way that counts.. god that was good.." her arms slid around him, figuring he didnt mind the intimacy so much even if he didn't know her as well as he knew Pepper. "I wouldn't be able to tell you apart if you were both in the dark with your pants down.." she said after a minute with a grin.

"Ah, there's the reason Tony likes you so much. You're just as sarcastic as him." Tony didn't mind the intimacy since she was technically his wife. "I wonder if they heard us. They've been very quiet upstairs," he mused. Probably because they were up to something just like him and Remy. Tony knew himself, and he knew the allure of Pepper would eventually get to him again. He looked down at Remy, who was almost completely naked and laughed because he'd barely taken any clothes off at all.

All she could do really was grin at him, "Yeah we seem to have matching attitudes.." she bit on her lip and shrugged her shoulders. "I guess this was inevitable maybe.. who the hell knows.." she blinked though when he laughed, "What?" she didn't know what he was laughing at. "Something amusing? You can.. I mean if you want to ask me things or.. whatever, I'll answer.. since I still have you at a disadvantage.. though I guess there are things I don't know about you either."

"I'm laughing because here I am fully dressed and you're naked." He didn't know why he found that amusing. "Hmm, something to ask you. I know about the disease, your children..there's a lot that you don't know about me, I'm sure. Unless you've read the books I came from. My time line and all." He wasn't sure how long it'd be before his other self emerged from upstairs, so it'd probably be less of a shock if he didn't see the two of them in a state of undress. Slowly, Tony extracted himself from her embrace and sat up on his knees, pulling his boxers and pants back up and halfway zipped them up before he leaned to pick up her clothes off the floor and hand them to her.

"Oh.." she laughed, "Yeah that is kind of funny. Guys are lucky they can just unzip and that's it.." she took her clothes from him and started to get dressed again. "Um.. I might have read some but not alot.. there's some kind of.. nano technology in your bloodstream right? It helps repair and restore damaged tissue.." and there he went, getting her to talk about medicine and she could talk about it forever.

"Bloodstream, brain and spinal cord. It's connected to my central nervous system so my suit reacts as fast as a brain impulse. I can connect to electronic devices through Extremis, things like databases...hospital equipment. I can shut them down or troubleshoot them that way." He didn't want to go into that much because it reminded him of when he'd taken Happy off life support through Extremis so Pepper didn't have to turn it off herself.

"Heals me and repairs the armor even while I'm in combat." Tony shrugged. "I'm not sure I won't age. Even if it repairs my body whenever, eventually the nano tech will stop working, just like any other tech. Everything wears out in its own time." Though he might end up looking forty still when he was fifty or sixty. "The electromagnet interferes with the tech. You know how you stick a magnet too close to a computer or floppy disk? It's the equivalent."

She nodded a bit, "Yeah guess you're right.." it made her wonder if there was some kind of expiration date on her own lease on life. He smirked, "Awkward?" Then he just gave her a look. "Nothing awkward except I just banged you seven ways from Sunday." Then he reached over and wiped his hand over her forehead. "Got you all hot and sweaty. Look, you even made me break a sweat." Then Tony just took off his shirt to wipe at his face and ran it over his hair. He was used to just conducting himself in any manner no matter who was around. "If they're having sex, they'll be a while. Pepper's not in a state for roughing it up, so let's go in the kitchen, get something cold to drink." And he just tossed the shirt somewhere and walked around topless.

"And anything worth doing, is worth doing it right the first time. Looks like I did pretty well there," since the two of them came in just a few minutes really. "Yeah, even if I didn't put that one in there, I'm still responsible for your well-being. Can't have you doing anything to hurt the little one." When he returned, he settled down on the couch next to her with bottled water, and handed her one. "Plus you won't find liquor in this house. Not with my sobriety. Have to keep temptation at bay. This might actually be the driest house in the entire state of California."

"I never complain about sex unless it's really bad which I have a reputation to uphold, so I never let that happen," he said turned up the water bottle and drinking a decent portion of it. "So I suppose with this pregnancy, I'll see you around here often?" Not that he minded. Would be nice with other company about since he couldn't stay home all of the time with Pepper.

"Then I'm certain without a doubt, there will be more if that's the case then. Next time, we'll get both of us in on the deal," and he took another swig of water. "All I want is for her to be safe and for the baby to be okay. You do whatever it is you have to do to ensure that because I honestly do not think Pepper could handle another miscarriage, and frankly, neither can I." That was the truth. Two had been enough for the both of them, and with his behavior with the last one, Tony wasn't sure he could deal with it all over again. It'd be enough for any man to stop trying.

Tony's lips shifted back and forth while he thought about that, "There was the one time, but she was nervous at first. She's better about it now, I think. Not entirely sure how she'll feel about you, but I guess that's something you and she will have to figure out." Tony found the idea of the two of them pretty hot, thought it sort of sucked that Pepper probably couldn't handle both versions of him at the same time like Remy. He really didn't like the idea of jostling her body around that much. "Yeah, they do. Here's to a disease and miscarriage free existence for all four of us for the rest of our lives here."
