It was as if a veil had been lifted off of his eyes ever since Remy had spoken those words. Pepper had been here in this universe for a long time now, was even pregnant with his other self's baby, which was technically his as well, and it immensely gnawed at his mind. He'd had his mind wiped? He'd been on the verge of a divorce because of Pepper and his love for her? All of this was news to him, and Tony honestly didn't know how to react to all of it. He'd run the gamut of emotions: anger, frustration, sadness and elation. But what was he supposed to do?

Only one thing he could do. He had to go and see her for himself. Just because he didn't trust himself, he'd take the baby with him, and secretly, he wanted Pepper to see his son. The one that could have easily been hers had it been a different time.

When Remy returned, he was waiting for her in the den, though he'd fallen asleep on the couch, his body outstretched across it with Ant just as sound asleep as him, the baby quietly sucking on his thumb with Tony's hand resting on back. Tony had dozed off while watching television to keep his mind occupied after feeding Ant.

He didn't even look peacefully asleep, either. Tony looked conflicted or worried, even as he slept, though it wasn't a wonder what with everything that had to be running through his head at the moment.

"Good thing the sex with me is always seriously good.." she propped her head up in her hand, leaning across the counter as she sipped her water. "Yeah looks like it, as long as she can stand to look at me I'm fine with it. I mean to be honest I'm not any kind of obgyn expert, but I know enough and I gave birth so.." she shrugged her shoulders. And she knew to call Cameron if she needed anything.

"Then I'm certain without a doubt, there will be more if that's the case then. Next time, we'll get both of us in on the deal," and he took another swig of water. "All I want is for her to be safe and for the baby to be okay. You do whatever it is you have to do to ensure that because I honestly do not think Pepper could handle another miscarriage, and frankly, neither can I." That was the truth. Two had been enough for the both of them, and with his behavior with the last one, Tony wasn't sure he could deal with it all over again. It'd be enough for any man to stop trying.

"You know we could just go ahead and make it a foursome.. no need to leave her out.. I mean unless she's kind.. freaked out by other women parts.." she had no idea really. It wasn't like she had talked to the woman more then twice. "I promise that this baby will continue to be healthy and strong and very much alive, no matter what it takes.." well maybe not anything, since sometimes you had to choose between a mother and the child. But no need to bring that up. "Miscarriages and diseases suck.."

Tony's lips shifted back and forth while he thought about that, "There was the one time, but she was nervous at first. She's better about it now, I think. Not entirely sure how she'll feel about you, but I guess that's something you and she will have to figure out." Tony found the idea of the two of them pretty hot, thought it sort of sucked that Pepper probably couldn't handle both versions of him at the same time like Remy. He really didn't like the idea of jostling her body around that much. "Yeah, they do. Here's to a disease and miscarriage free existence for all four of us for the rest of our lives here."

"Yeah? Well.. as long as she's with someone who knows what they're doing.." she quirked a grin a little. "I guess we'll have to figure that out yeah. I promise we'll tape anything that happens when you two aren't around.." she stretched her arms out a little more. When they were both not pregnant anymore, there would definitely be some kind of really bad dirty sex. "Seriously.. oh and to no one ever blowing up the hospital or anywhere else.. halloween is right around the corner and thats never a good time around here.."

"Oh and I bet you know just what you're doing," grinning cheekily. "Mm, Pepper and I have the tendency to end up on film when we get wild. I'm sure the two of you could produce something just as dirty as us." And even if Pepper was nervous and reluctant, there was just something so hot about watching others do things to her. Especially what Terra had done. "I suppose I should keep an eye on things around Halloween then."

"Well I don't like to brag but..." heh, she did like to brag, at least about that. To him. Maybe not other people. "She seems so shy to end up on film, I'm kind of surprised that we haven't yet. Guess we've just got to be patient about it.." she nodded a bit. "Yeah good idea about Halloween.." she paused a bit, "I think I hear Tony and the baby.." though it could have been something else she supposed. "Guess they're done.."

"Our YouTube debut was only because Pepper's a celebrity here and I had a thing for exposing her in a window of the house," he said with a shrug like it was just an inevitable thing with them really. His ears perked as he heard the door creaking upstairs then saw Tony emerge and head downstairs, baby in tow.

"Pepper says she's taking a bath if you want to join her," he said as if speaking to another him was the most natural thing ever. He liked to think of it as having an identical twin brother of sorts.

"Suppose that's my cue. I'll drive you two back to the airfield and get back in time to get in with her. She takes longer now with the baby bump" The corner of his lips quirked at the thought of the baby.

"Oh yeah I saw that one.. very nice.. and done on purpose no doubt.." she smirked some. It seemed like a very Tony thing to do. But then she supposed that when he got to winding them up like that, they would do just about anything he'd ask for, no matter how kinky or deprived.

She glanced up when Tony entered the kitchen and nodded her head. "Sounds good.. let me just go grab my stuff.." she ducked into the other room to go get her bag and came back a moment later so they could get into the car and head back to the airport.
