Who: Tony Stark (both), Remy Stark and Pepper Potts
Where: LA Stark mansion

Why: Tony finds out Pepper's been here all along and wants to see her.

It was as if a veil had been lifted off of his eyes ever since Remy had spoken those words.  Pepper had been here in this universe for a long time now, was even pregnant with his other self's baby, which was technically his as well, and it immensely gnawed at his mind.  He'd had his mind wiped?  He'd been on the verge of a divorce because of Pepper and his love for her?  All of this was news to him, and Tony honestly didn't know how to react to all of it.  He'd run the gamut of emotions: anger, frustration, sadness and elation.  But what was he supposed to do?

Only one thing he could do.  He had to go and see her for himself.  Just because he didn't trust himself, he'd take the baby with him, and secretly, he wanted Pepper to see his son.  The one that could have easily been hers had it been a different time.

When Remy returned, he was waiting for her in the den, though he'd fallen asleep on the couch, his body outstretched across it with Ant just as sound asleep as him, the baby quietly sucking on his thumb with Tony's hand resting on back.  Tony had dozed off while watching television to keep his mind occupied after feeding Ant.  

He didn't even look peacefully asleep, either.  Tony looked conflicted or worried, even as he slept, though it wasn't a wonder what with everything that had to be running through his head at the moment.

"He's probably sleepy again. It's past his bedtime. Hold him for a few minutes while I go get the crib." Reluctantly, Tony left the room to go get the crib. It wasn't quite finished, but the bottom half was done. It just didn't have any railings, which was fine since it was only to put him down in while they were here. Tony took Ant and held him for a little while, humming softly to the baby while he rocked him to sleep. Ant yawned then started to suck on his thumb as Tony cradled him and kissed the top of his head. Just from these little actions, anyone could tell that Tony adored his baby and he was the center of his world. Pepper would learn feeling that soon enough. Once he finally fell sound asleep, Tony placed him down in the crib gently and pulled a blanket from the diaper bag and spread it over him for now.

"Oh yeah sure.." she put Ant up on her shoulder and rubbed his back and his hands automatically went to her hair, sucking on the ends because what baby didn't like to bite on the ends of hair. When Tony came back with the crib, she moved a little to help give Ant over to him and let him put the baby down. She could definitely tell that he loved his baby very much and she hoped that she would love hers just as much, and that Tony would love it too. Both of them maybe.

There was no way the other version of him wouldn't love his baby. He'd freaked out when something had happened to cause a miscarriage, and he was in love with a baby he'd never gotten the chance to see. Once he made sure Ant was safe and sound asleep, Tony walked back to the bed and sat down next to Pepper before he scooted close to her. "Where were we? Oh, you were telling me how I have a habit of abandoning you," he murmured against her lips before he kissed her again, fingers threading into her hair.

She'd always known that if given the chance, Tony would be a fantastic father, she just never thought she'd get a chance to show him. When he came back to sit with her, she smiled and scooted up a bit, closer towards him too. "Yeah.. you do.. you're lucky I don't mind.." she said with a small smile before Pepper pressed her lips against his, kissing him just the way she would with the other Tony.

"Very lucky..." he whispered as he turned into her more, his hands pulling her as close to him as he could without jostling her belly too much. He kissed her just as he did Remy, but Pepper could tell there was a little more behind his kiss for her. There was a love there that'd been there for years, and regardless of how much he loved and adored Remy, his love for Pepper had been there longer, was as much a part of him as anything. One hand came down to her own and entwined their fingers together as he kissed her softly, nothing rushed or heated about this.

Moving so that she was right pressed up against him, she kissed him gently, sliding her fingers through his and pressing up against him a bit more. She wasn't trying to rush anything, definitely not but being around him excited her she couldn't really help herself. Her other hand slid up into his hair and she sighed into his mouth, letting him have the part of her that he'd never got to have before.

He didn't know what he was doing right now or if he even cared as her fingers ran over a sensitive spot on his scalp, causing him to moan in her mouth. He just knew this was why he'd come here tonight. Maybe they had both needed this release, this chance to express what had been dormant for a long time. Sure Pepper had her own Tony, but this was her version. The one she remembered and knew to the core. His hand trailed down her neck and over her body, fingers tracing her shoulder, arm and over her chest until he cupped her breast, softly massaging it as he deepened their kiss.

Some part of her was sure that Remy was going to kill her for this, or maybe him. But at the moment that part didn't seem to be crossing her mind. Right now all she could think about was him, and how he was pressed against her like she always wanted him to be. She moaned softly into his mouth when he groped her since well they were pretty sensitive at the moment. She bit on his bottom lip and reached down to pull off his shirt.

Sitting up to let her take off his shirt, as soon as it was gone, he pulled hers over her head then took a moment to admire her body. He'd never seen Pepper this way, so he eased her back down on the bed to carefully explore her, one hand cupping a breast as his body slid down the bed until his head was at the other, kissing and nipping at the skin. Trailing his tongue over a very sensitive nipple, Tony peeked up at Pepper from his vantage point, "We have to be quiet," he whispered against her skin before taking the nipple in his mouth.

Letting him take off her shirt, she settled back down onto the bed so that he could do what he wanted with her. Thankfully she was kind of used to this with her own Tony, but still it was different. She gasped and her back arched up off the bed a little, nodding. Yeah quiet. Right. Her hands slid into his hair and she squirmed underneath him. It was going to be a job to be quiet. "I'll try.." she said with a smile.

Tony smiled against her skin, because he knew she wouldn't be too quiet if the sounds she'd already made were any indication. He was teasing her now, placing soft kisses and occasionally licking her skin. "Do you think it's...I don't know, strange that I don't want to sleep with you?" It was an odd question, given it was Tony, but there was no desire to just have Pepper. He just wanted to be here with her, to touch and taste her, hold her.

Her breath hitched in her throat as he kept teasing her, and then glanced up when he said that he didn't want to sleep with her. "You.. don't? I.." she didn't know how to take it really. "Um.. okay.." carefully she sat up a little and pushed her shirt down back over herself. "Then we'll talk.." she wasn't sure if he'd hurt her feelings or what, she just didn't think it was right for her to be half naked when he didn't want to do anything and his wife was downstairs.

But then he got the impression he'd hurt her feelings then when he said that so when she pushed her shirt back down, he sat up more. "Wait...it's..." well it wasn't because of Remy being downstairs. "I want to, but I don't. I don't know if that even makes sense or not." It didn't make sense to him, that was for sure. That and Tony was confused as to what he wanted from Pepper. "Is it what you want?"

"It makes no sense.." she confirmed, trying not to take it personally. Maybe if she hadn't been all hormones it would have been okay, but she was trying not to get upset. "Well not anymore I don't.." if she'd been horny.. and okay, she had been, she wasn't any longer apparently. She gathered up her sheets and put them around herself. "Can we just talk about something else?"

"Don't be like that," he said when she started to cover herself up like she didn't even want him to look at her let alone touch her. "I didn't mean it in a way that...look, I'm trying to prevent me going crazy like I did before. From what I understand I literally took a plunge off the edge, and I'm not sure what will happen if I do it again." Tony reached up to cup her cheek, his thumb running over her lips. He had an expression filled with many regrets, but he loved her, and he was about as confused as she was.

Her expression softened slightly, but only a little. "I know.. I just.. your wife is downstairs having sex with my.. I don't know.. this is all really weird.." More then weird, but she supposed it was for the best maybe. Oh hell, she didn't know. She let him touch her, and relaxed slightly. She didn't want to be the cause of someone's marriage crumbling.

"I know. I could hear them when I went to get the crib. I just...it's like sleeping with me, just an older version. You're you...maybe things are better now. Or if we get it out of our system, it won't be a problem." But Tony was afraid that the first taste would make him want more and more until he did it again. But the more he thought about the fact she was here and that he could have her guilt-free, the more appealing it became. "I'll have to go slow since you're..." and he touched her belly, smiling softly. There was a baby that was theirs in her, something that crossed his mind before he'd ended up in this universe.

"Is it? You think that's why she's doing it? Or do you think she's fucking him because it's the only way she knows to get back at you for this.. what we are or aren't going to do.." she couldn't help but think it out loud. It had crossed her mind a bit. Though she didn't mind sharing her Tony. "I suppose it's too much for the four of us to actually figure this thing out with words.." she was the only one who was probably willing. "You don't have to go that slow, I just should be on top.. I mean if you think you can get me going again.."

"I've almost reached that point where the reasoning for it doesn't matter anymore." Being able to talk like adults was probably the hard part of all this. Tony was probably the one that was the most unwilling to try and figure it out. "Or lie on our sides. Whichever is most comfortable for you." Then he cocked an eyebrow, "If I think I can get you going? Have you forgotten who you're talking to? Since when does Tony Stark not turn on a woman?" He got on his knees and crawled to the bottom of the bed and off it. "Gotta move all this crap," he said as he started clearing the bed of her work and the laptop. Once he was finished, he stripped off his shoes, socks and pants, leaving his boxers on for the time being then moved on to pull down her own pants and take them off.

She scratched at her head, not sure if she wanted to get into it either, but they were going to have to. They couldn't live like this could they? She didn't know, she really didn't. Instead she just kind of smirked at him, "Oh you'd be surprised.." was all she said, because she remembered that one time. She lifted her hips, letting him take off her pants and then removed her shirt again, laying it down to the side.

Tony didn't crawl on top of her like he would have with Remy, instead he moved to lie next to her, his hand trailing over her breasts once again and down her stomach to between her legs.
