It was as if a veil had been lifted off of his eyes ever since Remy had spoken those words. Pepper had been here in this universe for a long time now, was even pregnant with his other self's baby, which was technically his as well, and it immensely gnawed at his mind. He'd had his mind wiped? He'd been on the verge of a divorce because of Pepper and his love for her? All of this was news to him, and Tony honestly didn't know how to react to all of it. He'd run the gamut of emotions: anger, frustration, sadness and elation. But what was he supposed to do?

Only one thing he could do. He had to go and see her for himself. Just because he didn't trust himself, he'd take the baby with him, and secretly, he wanted Pepper to see his son. The one that could have easily been hers had it been a different time.

When Remy returned, he was waiting for her in the den, though he'd fallen asleep on the couch, his body outstretched across it with Ant just as sound asleep as him, the baby quietly sucking on his thumb with Tony's hand resting on back. Tony had dozed off while watching television to keep his mind occupied after feeding Ant.

He didn't even look peacefully asleep, either. Tony looked conflicted or worried, even as he slept, though it wasn't a wonder what with everything that had to be running through his head at the moment.

Tony let out a low growl as she came, her body coaxing him into his own orgasm as he slid fully inside of her, holding her body close to him as he buried his face against her neck to stifle the sounds. He had a habit of being rather loud when he came, and he didn't need the baby waking up just yet. His lips found hers again, kissing her very tenderly as he threaded his fingers in her hair, his hips rocking a little as they rode out their climaxes together. Maybe this had gotten it out of their systems, or maybe it was just going to make them worse and crave each other more. Who knew at this point, all Tony knew was that he was happy right now.

Keeping up with him tightly, she pressed her lips to his soundly and kissed him gently as they moved together and finally came to a stop. She was out of breath and just kind of slumped up against him as she came down from her orgasm. She felt him go too, and laid her head down on his shoulder. She didn't know either how this was going to turn out, but she was happy too, glad that at the very least she'd gotten to have this with him.

	Softly, he brushed her hair away from her face and tilted his head to kiss her forehead, fingers lightly stroking her cheek and up and down her back as he held her. He laid back on the bed and brought her to rest against him, spent and sweaty as he tried to calm his breathing. "I love you," he whispered against her skin as he kissed her again. 	Kissing him back a little, still trying to find her breath, she was laid back in the bed. She smiled at him, and reached up to touch his cheek, and then run her fingers through his hair. "I love you too.." she whispered and kissed him a bit more soundly that time. She curled up on her side, "You should check on Edward.. er... Ant? Make sure he's all right.." He kissed her once more before he got up off the bed and slipped his boxers back on followed by his pants before he walked over to the crib and looked down to see if Ant was awake at all. The baby was still sound asleep, sucking his thumb every so often. Tony touched his head, stroking it lightly. Then he looked back at Pepper and wanted to crawl in bed next to her, so he did, curling himself right against her. "Is it wrong I don't want this to end? I want what we had, but I want the life I had, too."

While he was up, she got up and got herself a robe and slipped it on, cleaning herself off a little before getting back into bed. When he came back, she snuggled up against him and wrapped her arms around him in return. "No. I guess it's not wrong. I guess we're just going to have to all live in one house.. make it easy.." though it was hard to tell if she was joking or not.

"My daughter might have a problem with that. She probably already thinks we're freaks enough as it is." Given they had sort of tossed her out the night they had a threesome with Kirk. "Maybe...I can just come to visit when Remy comes to check on you. It will keep things from getting out of hand like before." He wanted to take this a little slow because really he was still unsure of himself and didn't want a relapse.

Pepper nodded her head, "Yeah you're right. Well I'm sure she does, she's a teenager. You could be very normal and she'd still think you were a freak.." she gave a little laugh. "You need to talk to her then.. I know you don't want to, none of you do I think but you're not going to figure this out without talking. If she says that's fine, then you can come see me whenever you want.. I think your other self would be okay with that.."

"I'll have a talk with her. She just had sex with my other self, I don't think there's much room for rejection of it on her part." Leave it to Pepper to be the most sensible one of the group of them. "I had better get dressed and go downstairs. You should get some rest," he said, placing a kiss to her forehead and then to her lips. "If you need us, you know how to reach us."

"I'll see what I can do. I promise not to stay away too long." Not as if he could anyway. It was Pepper after all. Tony finished dressing and gathered up the baby from the crib then tugged the strap of the diaper bag around his neck. Ant slept so soundly, he barely made any noise when Tony picked him up. "Take care of yourself," he whispered, then kissed her once more before he left.
