| YAY it's Friday
|[Feb. 1st, 2008|12:05 am]
Who: Karen, Reina and Sofia. (Later Tritter as well.)
Where: Kent and it's parking garage, or what'll be left of it.
When: Friday morning, about a quarter after seven.
Warnings: Scary situations, some mild cursing, I bet.
"Girls, I'm so sorry, I don't know how I forgot it." Karen was of course referring to her wallet, where her credit card was waiting to pay for them to get their hair done as she had promised. "This will only take a minute, come right into the office." She didn't care if that House gave her a hard time about showing up on her day off, today was about time with the twins.
Walking in, she moved to her desk and pulled her wallet from the drawer, where Robert had likely stuck it when he saw it on the desk, that dear. She smiled back at the girls and reached for both of their hands after saying and signing for Reina. "Ok, back to the car and off we go to get pampered." She took their hands, leading them down a series of halls until they reached the elevator, they had to go down two levels before entering the parking garage, just to get to the car quicker.
"So you girls excited? What do the dresses you brought look like?"

Who: Xi'an and Jubes
Where: A random clinic-like place. Somewhere. Not far from where smackdown happened. This is all very confused, as I thought the smackdown was in NY, but it actually isn't XD;
When: After the Gambit/Death thing, while the world around them goes to hell.
Warnings: End-of-the-world cherry-popping girl-sex. Yea-ah. I like hyphens, can you tell?
Having sex during an apocalypse was not normally something Xi'an would do, but it had been ages since she'd had anyone, and she wasn't in the mood to fight the spark she'd felt with Jubilee during the fight against Death. For once, she was glad the twins had not been transported with her; they were safe, and she didn't have to worry about them during all of this.
She dragged Jubilee into a clinic (it was the closet thing she saw that would probably be clean). The front door was broke, so it wasn't hard to get inside. She first room she found, she dragged the other woman into and kissed her hard.

Who: Lorna and Pulse
What: Staying together for much mutual protection and sorting out of asshattedness on the part of the female.
When: Right now!
Rating: PG for now, rating may jump.
Lorna hadn't expected to be digging the plastic phone out at all, much less so soon after she'd hidden it. But shit had, in fact, gone down, and she wanted to make sure Pulse was safe, since there were enough X-men to take care of themselves.
She dialed quickly, already running down to the garage. "Pick up pick up pick up."

Who: Harry Dresden and the rescue effort volunteers
Where: Kent Memorial parking garage
When: The bleeding ass-crack of dawn.
Rating: Damaged, ugly, gross, injured people - it ain't gonna be pretty
The building fell down and it wasn't my fault...
Ten Minutes Ago:
I don't know if it's good or bad that House(2) accidentally picked up my text messaging phone thingy this morning. I'm on my way to switch them back, because I don't want to read his messages - no matter who they're from - when I hear the loudest cracking-crashing-crumbling sound since that school tried to burn down around my ears.
Stupid flaming monkey poo.
Well, okay, not building, but parking structure. Either way - it once was up, but now it's down. This I see as a very bad thing.
And judging by the number of messages scrolling through this sidekick thing, I'd say there's work to be done. Getting people unstuck and not crushed and such. Always a good plan.
First order of business is to find some other folks who can get where I might not be able to. And to find a way in.

Who: Sam and Dean Winchester.
When: Right after Dean came back into the game - backdated to before the Apocalypse ruckus.
Where: Outside the library where Dean reappeared.
Warnings: Potty language, probable angst?
Dean sat on the library's stone steps, kicking at pebbles with one scuffed boot. He watched pretty girls go by and tried to digest the new information that was kicking around in his brain. Okay. I'm in a new universe. That's not that weird, I guess. Some of the shit we've dealt with could've done this - nope. Still weird. Tryin' to explain it away doesn't help.
He sighed and scrubbed his face with his hands, waiting for a familiar purr to come around the corner. When it did, he stood up and squinted, trying to see his brother through the distance. Dean wasn't even concerned about the car. For the moment, he just wanted to make sure Sam was all right.

Who: Karen, Caleb, NPC!Pete and a couple less important NPCs. Also a cameo by Harry, of course. His bleeding arm.
Where: Kent and then oddly enough, Kent.
When: More than 12 hours after the initial collapse. Now, more or less.
Warnings: Abuse of a pregnant person, swearing.
Behind a barricade several yards back from what had once been the parking garage, family and friends of those trapped inside waited. They cheered when a rescue was succesful, and there was complete silence when a janitor was brought to the surface, covered in a white sheet, motionless, bleeding through it. Pete was at the very front of the crowd, barricade gripped in his hands, eyes searching, hopeful for the familiar blonde to walk out. Hoping, waiting.
She'd been in there too long, the dust had probably suffocated her, something could have collapsed on her. But then that wasn't like Karen. This baby had become so much to her, she wouldn't stop fighting, she'd keep it safe. He sighed impatiently, passing his hands over his face. 13 hours, it was dark, no sign of her. There was talk of abandoning the search. And then a worker said they'd found someone. A woman.
Then he said she was pregnant.
"Karen?" He yelled past te barricade, leaning forward, waiting for a sign of life. He got it when flashlights shone on the large whole torn in the rubble to get people through and Karen took a step out, a bloody Dresden hanging on tightly to her arm.

Who: Tony Stark/Iron Man and Thirteen
Where: Kent Memorial, 7th floor
Why: Hot chick needs some savin'
Rating: Knowing us? Smut ahoy.
Tonk had told Captain America that he was on his way to the Hearst Building, but then he'd seen the distressing message from the girl at Kent, and from the way it sounded, she was about a step away from being dead. There seemed to be so many that needed saving, but he couldn't help them all. This one, however, demandd his immediate attention and it was on his way. The meeting could wait.
Jetting as fast as he could go, Tony arrived at the building and headed inside, avoiding debris and rubble as he entered the 7th floor, looking for the girl. Using the armor, he scanned for life forms on the floor, sure that she'd stand out if there was more than one. Making his way to her, he broke through some of the rubble, casting it aside as if it were nothing as he punched in.
