Who: Open to anyone on the attack Gambit team!
Where: Somewhere in a jungle on some continent.
When: Last night, slightly before midnight.
What: The initial attack. Logan found him, called everybody else, and started beating up Gambit/Death. This is where Apocalypse will enter the world.
Warnings: If I need to tell you this will be violent, you have problems.

Note: Please feel free to start different threads in this post with different groups of pups. With all the chaos, action can be split up in small groups all happening at once and that way the thread won't die while you wait 10 years for one person to tag.

Wolverine was crouched in the underbrush, keeping an eye on Gambit. He had already alerted the team, and was sure they would be here soon. Once they arrived, they'd lose the advantage of surprise. A dozen people arriving by portkey or whatever wasn't exactly quiet. He just hoped Jean and Emma would be quick.

He figured that once Jean and Emma did their mojo, Death would move like the wind. They could use a speedy asshole like Quicksilver, but they'd have to work with what they had. They were damn lucky Colossus showed up when he did. Logan was altering his gameplan with that in mind, all for the better.

He heard the crackle of the portkey signaling the team's arrival. SNIKT. Showtime.

	Colossus arrived in armor form, unsure of what would be going down and remembering his training as he moved toward where Logan had told him to meet. His steps were not silent, but far less noisy than someone his size normally would have been. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Logan motioned to Piotr and the others. Gambit didn't seem to have noticed them. He was guessing Emma or Jean had put some sort of block on him.

"Watch Gambit. Be ready." They'd never done something like this before. Jean made it sound like the plan was to split Remy and Death apart, but he didn't know quite how that was going to go down, or what Death would look like outside of Remy. He hoped the goddamn horseman was corporeal so that they could beat the shit out of it.

He had been running through all the scenarios in his head, and the worst was Death moving into another person on his team. It would probably go after the biggest threat, and Logan reckoned that would be Jean or Emma. "You see somethin' come out of him, you beat the shit out of it. It starts running, you run faster. And if anybody starts actin' fishy, you hold 'em down."

Logan had been possessed by Death before. This situation was pretty goddamn dark, and he knew it. "And if this doesn't work, you know what we gotta do." They couldn't let Gambit live like that, being used as a tool of destruction. Logan wouldn't have wanted that, and he knew Remy didn't either.

Henry came through from New York, by way of Tokyo, and flipped to a stop nearby, wearing, well, spandex.

"A most difficult situation we find ourselves in, once more, eh, old friends? But not unfamiliar. Shall we, as they say, play ball?"

His grin held trademarks of someone who had spent the better part of his adult life in a beast form. Something almost feral spoke in his eyes, alongside his intellect.

Anya arrived, looking out of place. She didn't have a costume, and was just wearing jeans and a sweater. She hadn't been in many big fights like this before. In her world, the X-Men were peacemakers, and the threats were less severe. Conflicts between humans and mutants were uncommon, and things seemed to generally fall in place. She was nervous. She'd had training sessions, of course, but she didn't consider herself 'battle ready'.

She listened to Wolverine's speech and ran through it mentally. If something ran, she could send a blast of electricity at it, hopefully knocking it out.

She glanced over at the acrobatic man nearby, smiling at his words of confidence.. and then recognizing his voice. "Hank?"

	Belle is steady as a rock, and looks calm and collected. This is, of course, just on the outside. She's never fought someone who was expecting it, and had a chance to hit back. But at the same time, it was kind of thrilling. She has various knives, a gun in a shoulder rig, and a sword, though they're all put away at the moment. (Reply to this)
