So, now that Finbar had efficiently shut up Lynch by making him think he’d been added to a matchmaking service, it was time to do some proper work along the lines of cheering up the miserable sod. The man really needed to get out of his head for bit. A beer was in order, and if Lisa was working tonight – which she probably was – Finbar would introduce the two of them, if for no other reason than Aidan needed to know the pretty barmaid and understand that being on her good side had its benefits.

Sauntering up to the bar, he took his time looking to see who was there, nodding in greeting to a few he knew and smiling at those he didn’t know, though they still waved at him. With a small wave of his hand, he signalled that he was ready to order. He could always order another one, once Old Man Lynch bothered to get his carcass relocated here.

When you're ready to visit the Ark, just say the word, mate. Even if you just need to get away for a breather, we can have a drink. But you should know, the dragons know you're home, and Lana misses you. She went off food entirely the day you returned, spent the whole day in her next crying.

Now that I've a brand spanking new datapad, one that manages English a whole lot better than the one I first got, I just want to point out, that Lynch is the master of stating the obvious: Yes, it's insanely cold back there and nicely hot here.

The entire Quigley clan has settled in, so now I'm left with only one thing to ask: Where's the best place to go for a drink in this place?

Here's a heads up - it's getting insanely cold over on the other side of the portal. I wish I had come over much, much sooner. I arrived wearing this parka thing and that is most definitely not needed here.
