The coyote was a survivor. A scavenger as well, but still. The fact that her second form that was a little sideways from what she had been aiming form blended in so much better with Glynn than Belailles. The Coyote was seen around this area, attacking livestock and occasionally (only occasionally!) small children, they weren’t fond of them here by any means but at least it was better than the big city.
She could really run here, lose herself of the restless she had been feeling for months. Leaving her resentment and bitter anger behind when she shed her boring human form and embrace the dirt and more raw mind of the coyote. Briar loved flying of course, the feel of the wind around here, the control that teetered on the edge of having none at all and the thrill of a sharp dive towards the ground.
There was a joy in four legs though that couldn’t be matched, and in hunting too. Speaking of which she smelled something enticing, something not far and juicier than the usual rabbit or squirrel.
(Hunting had never bothered her the way it bothered some who shifted into predatory animals, perhaps that was one of the perks of her nature.)
Nose in the air and ears twitching, she paused as she listened to the quiet steps of an unfamiliar animal to pinpoint exactly where it was. Scent, sight and hearing were easier to not lose herself to if she gave herself further into the Coyote mind and let herself leave her humanity truly behind.
A deep breath in, out, she let herself go and shot off farther into the trees with dirt flying behind her.
