Poor thing was exhausted, and she was tuckered too, riding on the high of a hunt (even if it failed) and the excitement of a challenge was the only thing keeping her alert. Briar paused and listened to the woods for a moment before shrugging and plopping down just a few feet from him at an odd angle so she wasn't lying on anything.
It wasn't a bad way to meet someone, and she let out a loud laugh and cast him a critical look. He was too plaguing tall that was for sure, no wonder he seemed to bank on high odds if they tussled now. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time that someone underestimating her worked out in her favor, "It's only cannibalism if there are witnesses, otherwise it's just a missing person." She corrected with a grin, "And let me know when you want to give that a shot, it'll be fun."
She was halfway tempted to lean over and sniff him just to see his reaction, but opted not to, mostly because now that she was lying down she didn't want to move. Maybe this was a bad idea, "You that fond of your own stink or what?" The grin on her face changed to excitement again, "Oh! What are you? Are you a possum? I couldn't tell from the tree! Nice evading by the way."
