It's interesting how they say they're celebrating labor today, but it's only the people with desk and government jobs who seem to have it off.

Respect, I fear, is in far too short a supply. Sometimes, I don't understand why to be entirely honest with you -- why the worth of a person is measured by the depth of their wallet and not of their heart.

It always will be to those who don't know what it's like to work with their own hands.

I wouldn't say it's always the case. I've known some fine men and women who seem able to see beyond class to a certain point. But I guess it always does come back to who's doing the working and who's doing the ruling.
