My first weekend in Tumbleweed was spent with plaster, paint and one too many exhausting trips to the hardware store.

Does anybody here do handyman work? The labor I hired are unsatisfactory.

	I chose it. On the contrary, it's nice to not have to think of situations on a galactic or global scale. It's easier to get things done, really, and between this and teaching at the EPS, it keeps me busy, which is nice right now. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Perhaps you were working when I came in the shop on Friday? I made a rather large purchase of paint, primer, chemical strippers, and whatnot.

The carpet has been removed, so that won't be a bother. Most of the old wallpaper has been stripped, which was a bother, but the walls will need to be primed and painted. This needs to be done before the professionals come in to redo the floors, on Thursday morning.

Are you capable of electric work?

I'm not looking to get a lot of money from you. I have two regular jobs, at the hardware store and teaching math to the kids who show up here. You can pay me whatever you think is fair. I just like helping out the people who show up here, and this happens to be one of my skills.
