My first weekend in Tumbleweed was spent with plaster, paint and one too many exhausting trips to the hardware store.

Does anybody here do handyman work? The labor I hired are unsatisfactory.

[Private to Padme]

Ms Naberrie, may I introduce myself; I am Mycroft Holmes. You might have already been notified about me. I have been given a post in the Mayor's office, and shall be working along side of you.

Have you ever gotten something really wrong?

Bullshit. You have feelings or you wouldn't be moving in with your brother. I've always wanted a -

Yes, but it happens so infrequently that it's negligible.

I'm moving in with my brother because had I not, Sherlock would pester me night and day until he made my life a living hell. I'm saving myself the headache.

Still counts, dude.

What's it like? Having a brother, I mean.

Please don't call me dude.

It's a trial, that's what it is. My question for you is, why do you ask? I have my theories, but I'd like to see them confirmed.

It's just a - Sorry.

I think you just don't want to be wrong after you said you are sometimes.

That still doesn't explain your motivation.

Has Sherlock put you up to this?

What're your theories?

Nah. All he said was that you were moving in and not to be scared, which was weird. It's not like you're very intimidating.

Your behavior is indicative of an only child. You are a royalty, but you communicate in a very informal manner (as you write, 'Nah'), which tells me that you weren't raised as royalty, but sent to live with commoners, probably to shield you from dangers. You wonder what it would be like to have had siblings of your own, hence your initial question, 'What is it like to have a brother. You feel alone, and generally insecure, despite your abilities and skills. You lost one of your parents at an early age, and because the son often takes after the mother, I'd say it was your mother who died, which would also answer the question why you don't have any siblings. But she didn't die during childbirth. No, you formed a bond with her before she passed away, around eight years old, since you'd be old enough to remember her, and that's when a boy's attachment to their mothers are still great.

That's [...] fuck kinda right. Not all of it. First off, nobody's a "commoner," and I wasn't sent anywhere. I went to public school for a few years, yeah, but people are people. Second, my mom did die having me. Never knew her. I got my injury when I was eight, so maybe that's what you're thinking of.

Third, I'm not alone.

If you were present before me, I would've been 100% right.

Either your world must have a different meaning of the 'king', or it's your association with common folk that have formed your opinion.

Perhaps not now, but whilst growing up?

Oh, sure. Real convenient.

It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Just because I was born to certain people doesn't make me better than anyone else. Yeah, I have a pretty big job to do, but so do a lot of people? Mine's just [...] you know, more public.

There's somebody I've known since I was little. But it's complicated.

Anyway, I'll see you around. Heard you were gonna work for the mayor, too.

You heard correct. There are some other avenues I'd like to take, occupational speaking, but we'll see.

I was a civil servant for the British government, and occasionally would advise the CIA.
