Supernatural AU Fic
Title: Deo Volente

Warnings: AU – this story has about as much to do with Supernatural as I do. Death/Afterlife. Religion – quite a lot of it, the bastardisation of genuine prayers.
Disclaimer: The fact that I’m still not working on this show may explain S7 – just saying CW, I did offer.
Summary: Dean and Castiel are monks, ordained as priests and serving a quiet little village not far from the border with New Mexico. The two are getting to know each other when the paranormal intervenes and causes them to rethink a few things.
A/N: You could say I have a priest kink but you’d be more accurate in saying I have a religious kink. Too often a priest kink is presented as a costume thing and the rest overlooked but there’s something about the kind of person who dedicates their entire life to religion that is also very intriguing. This is the story of two people who find something in the other they had never expected to receive in life. Along the way they have to consider their view of the world and God.
Beta’d by my darling Wildepet and as AU as it gets; I’m only using the names Dean and Castiel in recognition of the fact that the characters look like them.

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the show at all, which seriously needs to be addressed. A/N: Historically accurate in A Knight’s Tale kind of way. Summary: A kid called Jimmy starts hearing things; he should find this more disturbing but if you can walk through fire unharmed it must mean something. Warnings: Pre-canon, children doing dangerous things – don’t try this at home kids! Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with Supernatural or CW but y’know that’s easily corrected if you’re interested. Author's Notes: Jimmy Novak just happens to be deeply religious and the vessel of Castiel? Let’s see how that happened. My theory is that Jimmy’s father is too old, too closed minded to hear Castiel anymore and that needs to be corrected before Castiel is needed for the really important work. Also, I made my own timeline with Jimmy and Dean's timelines parallel to Misha and Jensen since there's no canon for how old Jimmy is. Betad by my darling Pet as always.

Summary: Dean’s not really a fan, he just likes the show a lot. With a little twist to the casting it could be magnificent. Warnings/Spoilers: Swearing. Doctor/Hospital kink. Technically a teeny, tiny, little spoiler for Season 5.
Author's Notes: I’m in this thing where I’m writing in the third-person but as the character. Hopefully it doesn’t break any brains. Thanks to my darling Pet for betaing this and for the things she exclaims at me when reading. I don’t really have a proper title for this beyond the file name Dr Sexy Castiel. This is also my first Supernatural fic and is what happens when I’m trapped in Wales without proper internet.
