Maria's karaoke suggestion reminded me I was thinking we should do something social again. We've had more than thirty new people since the July 4th thing. Anyone else up for a rooftop BBQ on Friday afternoon?

It's a pity there aren't tv rooms or something for each floor. There's something to be said for random social encounters in shared spaces.

And just for fun... if you had to give a 20 minute speech or presentation with no time to prepare, what topic would you choose?

(Yes, I am bored, is it obvious?)

	I'd need - bare minimum - an hour and a half and a PowerPoint presentation to begin to explain the rules of horror. But I think I could cover the core rules in twenty minutes with hand-outs. BBQ sounds fun, though! What time were you thinking? I might have to duck out early cause I have to be at work at 4 on Fridays. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Yeah, that's true. Lunch means it's potentially hotter, but it also means that you can maybe pull out some yard games and keep it going longer? More time to mingle before it gets dark and mosquitoes start eating everyone. (Reply to this) (Parent)
