I don't know. Where I'm from my mother used genetic manipulation to give me my powers, and then when she was pregnant my father did a ritual to give me chaos magic. The magic seems to come from my other soul though. Everyone has two there.

I'm only nineteen. My parents were going to summon the god on my eighteenth birthday but I didn't want to. So my father made me kill my mother and then tried to kill me. But I can't die. I've got friends now and I'm learning a lot, I'm just... sort of making it up as I go.

Shit like that makes you stronger. You did what you had to in order to stay alive, never forget that. Plus you managed to at least tamp down some of that trauma you are letting bleed out in order to make friends.
