That's true of a lot of people. We get pulled from different timelines, different points in the timeline. There are several other mutants as well from three or four different worlds.

No. I'm told he was at one point, though much younger than I've ever known him. Erik is, as are Emma Frost, Rogue, Pyro, Kitty, young versions of Jean, Scott and Bobby, Hope Summers, and two students - Molly and Klara.

Oh, I know.

Surprisingly safe, actually. A lot of adults are invested in looking out for them, there's essentially no anti-mutant prejudice and when there is an occasional threat people actually work together for the most part.
