You made a potion so that if I won, it'd keep her consciousness separate. And you added essence of phoenix to it if I didn't. And I didn't. And I don't know if it was the amount of dark magic inside her or if it just let her express how much she hates me or what, but, at least at that point, she wanted me dead. ~~It was like that one time when we were fighting, and she~~ She killed Alyssa Chang. She teamed up with The Necromancer. She threatened to kill everyone in school if I didn't do the Merge. You and MG had way more faith in me than you should have.

What if it is? What if it was t he failure before the fix? Let's say it was a mistake. A mistake that at least worked for awhile. But then it didn't. And now you, and the rest of us, know. We now know how to close the pit. Because you did something that was stupid and self-sacrificing, and we all know you would do it again, but you don't need to do it again. Because it needs your blood, not your flesh or consciousness. So it was one of those learning mistakes. Now you have a chance to make whole new mistakes. Welcome to the club!

So it can do it, if you want it to. And if you do want it to, and you don't want to be alone, I'll be with you, if you want. But if you want to recruit someone else, I totally get it.

I'll burn it to the ground.

~~That was actually kind of clever of me~~ Josie doesn't hate you. Not the real Josie. Even when she's mad at you.And obviously I don't know all of it but I'd say our confidence wasn't misplaced. There was a plan and a backup plan and one of them was executed perfectly. And I still believe we'll find a way to stop it when the time comes.

It can't be stupid and something that helped us at the same time. And I've sort of learned my lesson about not putting myself in danger here. Ties in with the whole dying thing but luckily there are lots of other people here who can save the day. It's like I'm not even needed. So none of you need to worry about it.

Thanks, Lizzie. If I do decide to ask, I'll definitely need you there.

Yes it can. Penicillin wasn't discovered because Fleming thought he should ensure his Petri dishes got contaminated because he just knew that was the way to discover something useful. How'd you learn that lesson? Or did the Avengers just not want more help? And maybe you aren't needed to save the world, but you're needed in it.

If you're saying you're going to take up an ad there, I'll take out Times Square, too. If you're asking for the sake of changing the subject, no.

So remember how we went to Disney and you missed it? Sometimes that happens but it's something really shitty. There was a maze of literal nightmares once. I fought your uncle in it after he chased you down with an axe. Then there was the time when a whole bunch of 'bad guys' from all over the multiverses came. Including my grandfather. I [ ... ] tried to take him down myself. I might have underestimated him. He broke my skull against a building. But I healed, and we trapped him in a box until they all poofed. And I definitely didn't scare the crap out of anyone.

Slugs I was there for. Christmas is new. ...Actually I don't think I want to know about Christmas.

Do you really want to risk that?

I'm 100% on board with not remembering him going all Jack Torrance on me. It was bad enough to be trapped in a prison world with him once. Even if I didn't really interact with him. That's not the point!

And by that you mean you did because you Hoped it up again. At least you didn't die. That's something.

It was OCTOBER. It was a Malivore thing. And your fire chicken flew the coop, and, me being the gracious friend I am, went off to Mordor to fetch your hobbit for you while you did that Hope thing with Christmas in October. I don't know how you two even have a relationship when you're always throwing yourself at windmills and he's always taking flight, and you're both doing it for this greater good and that greater good and trying to be valiant. I guess here you might have more down time and less places to run (him, mostly), but I don't get it at home.

No one else from home was doing anything! They were hiding in the building like he wasn't going to kill innocent people and worm his way into the building. He had to be stopped. Plus he's family. That makes him my responsibility. I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not ready for vampire Hope.

They're not windmills if they're real threats. As for how we work... it's complicated and a little mushy and I don't want you to aspirate on your vomit. You just got here, after all.

Seriously? None of us did? I could understand me not doing something, but no one else? ~~Not even~~ ~~I can't~~ That's kind of crazy to think. Family or not, you shouldn't have had to do it alone, or at least without someone who had some idea about who he was and what he was capable of. And I'm not ready for Vampire Hope, either. Might never be.

No, but neither of you exist in a vacuum. What's the point of the Super Squad if everyone goes all Lone Vigilante? I'm good without the explanation. My stomach and I appreciate it.

	That would be nice. Jeremy and Anna were out doing their own thing and everyone else stayed inside. Not that I blame them! It's just that he had to be taken care of. Morgan helped me make the box we trapped him in, but I got him in there alone. Is it because I won't age anymore and you will? I've included you guys sometimes, you can't say I haven't.
