So cheesecake is a mixture of cheese (cream, ricotta -- I'm sure there can be others) and sugar and eggs and sometimes flavoring (like chocolate) that's put in a cake pan with a crust on the bottom (like graham crackers). It can be baked or not baked, and it's usually served cold. It's very good in my opinion. If you like sweet things and don't hate cheese, I'd try it.
