The amount of fried things in this era is baffling. I discovered a strange show called Carnival Eats and I have to wonder how so many people live after eating those creations.

What happened to a good stew?

If you need anything, love, I am at your command.

[Hope]
I meet with your blood maker today. If I do not survive this endeavor I shall not blame you.

...pardon?

So young. So the mere idea of immortality is not lost on you. I think I could consume fried butter and be alright, but I have no desire to sully my mouth so.

Ah, my manners. I am Sebastian, a pleasure to converse with you.

'You only live once'. A phrase used by people far younger than me to describe why they should be allowed to put themselves into deadly scenarios for fun.

No, not at all. Honestly not sure how long He can live, so I guess we'll see I don't blame you in the slightest. Even if health wasn't a factor...why?

I'm Bruce, good to meet you, Sebastian.

Well, that is an intriguing sentiment. History is rife with people that gave into their pleasures and I feel that excuse was used plenty.

It does not seem like something that would suit my tastes.

Carpe diem was more familiar to my generation, but I think there will always be people who would rather live their lives as they saw fit than worry about surviving.

The sweets, though. Maybe not often. But sometimes.

Worrying about survival grows tiresome so I can see the appeal of throwing caution to the wind.

Oh? I shall have to try some of the sweeter things then. I tend to prefer things with bite.
