The amount of fried things in this era is baffling. I discovered a strange show called Carnival Eats and I have to wonder how so many people live after eating those creations.

I fail to see how anyone can call it a treat, honestly. I'll admit to enjoying a fried oreo now and then but at least that's an actual dessert. Some of these things make me regret not becoming an MD because I'd be making serious money.

Oh, it'll absolutely cause heart disease and the like. Every now and then as a treat I'm sure it's fine but some of these people act like they'll live forever.

One of my closest friends is a demigod. He's currently in his mid hundreds, I think? Late hundreds? Either way. I think he could probably eat fried butter and be fine.

No, not at all. Honestly not sure how long He can live, so I guess we'll see I don't blame you in the slightest. Even if health wasn't a factor...why?

Well, that is an intriguing sentiment. History is rife with people that gave into their pleasures and I feel that excuse was used plenty.

Carpe diem was more familiar to my generation, but I think there will always be people who would rather live their lives as they saw fit than worry about surviving.
