I'm not sure what's bothering me more. The 'Goodland' part or the 'Ostrich Villa' part. Ostriches? Really?

As much as I appreciate the reprieve, I'm a little miffed about apparently missing Christmas.

There is still plenty of food left from Christmas. It was only two days ago, so you can still make up for it and celebrate now.

I've already been offered homebaked goods, so I think I've got a good start going here. And like someone else said, at least I made it for New Year's.

We certainly won't have a shortage of any kind of homebaked goods anytime soon. And some of us take special requests, as well.

God, I literally can't remember how long it's been since I've had anything homebaked. Or really anything homemade that wasn't a sandwich or something. If nothing else good comes from this, I have access to a kitchen and can actually cook again.

Indian food is probably my best, but I'll try anything. I make a mean pad thai. Still never mastered fried chicken.

Have you tried broiling it instead? It comes out just as delicious with less oil used.
