As much as I appreciate the reprieve, I'm a little miffed about apparently missing Christmas.

Well, I won't turn down home baked goods. That's something I haven't had in ages. And I'm not particularly religious in either direction so Hanukkah celebrations might be nice, too, who knows.

Nice to meet you, Lily. Better under other circumstances but all the same. I'm Bruce. And I'm in this currently empty place I was told to head to in this very informative note. So no idea if that means I'm safe or if I've been duped. Tough call.
