[Stark Industries employees (all types: interns, support, scientists, security)]

Hello,

Many of you already know me from my time here before, which I regret that I do not remember. I will formally begin as the CEO of Stark Industries on Monday. However, I will be in and out of the building this week to familiarize myself with the various labs and ongoing projects, as well as organize myself. I have the benefit of being very familiar with the thought process of the former boss.

That being said, I look forward to meeting and working with everyone in the building. Please, if there is anything you need or any assistance I can provide do not hesitate to reach out. My door is always open to the Stark Industries Family.

Sincerely,

Pepper Potts.

[James Rogers & Laura Kinney]

I've heard a lot about the two of you from Tony. I would love to have you join us for dinner sometime soon.

Probably the most important person in the whole building. Scientists, in my experience, often forget to do things that aren't directly related to their research... Like clean.

I just make sure people can eat off the floor and drink out of the toilet.

Very good.

However, Mr. Klaus, should you ever actually see any of that happening, please let me know so that I can insist upon a psych eval, or at very least some sleep!

It's just Klaus. Not Mr Hargreeves either. Klaus.

That important, huh? Does that mean I get to hit the sprinklers when they've not gone home by 10pm?

Alright, Klaus it is.

Maybe ask them when they came in? Maybe we can outfit you with a water pistol or a bubble gum to bother the repeat offenders. I know some things are very important, but I also know how easy it is to fall down the home and get lost in the details.

I used to set egg timbers all around Tony's lab to remind him to drink water when I first started.

Yes. Klaus it is.

We don't need a bunch of smart people rabbit-holing. Although, can't promise it'll be successful with my brother. But you can handle Mr Handsome, obviously.

[PEPPER]
Uh. Boy. If there's gonna be any drug testing around here, I'm going to fail? Benzos kind of

Looks like we've got our jobs cut our for us.

Though I would like to implement a way that no one is spending more than ten hours a day in their lab.

[Klaus]

I appreciate your honesty.

Would you say that you have a drug problem?

Give everyone their own blackboard for their bedrooms? Put up a really annoying and really loud alarm that once a minute says that you've worked x overtime?

[Pepper]
I want to say no just to keep my job, but [...] Yeah I do.

Annoying I'm good at, but I'm also concerned that this might encourage people to 'clock out' but not leave. I'll talk to Tony about what we can have his AI do.

[Klaus]

Again, I appreciate your honesty. I'm not going to fire you unless you give me a reason too, and everyone has a past. But that is what it should become, a past.

However, I would like for you to get help.

Here is the deal. Stark Industries is going to provide you for paid time off whenever you attend an NA meeting, a therapy appointment, or a Doctors appointment. I would prefer a note of proof of some sort, at least during the initial stages. As this is a sensitive subject, you may bring this directly to me as to not get anyone else involved.

However, if I find that your use is hindering your ability to do your job (such as coming in high, using at work, or theft from any offices of any kind) you will be subject to immediate disciplinary actions. Should this occur, I will have to institute random tests in the future.

In addition, I am having any substances that might be used in the medical labs locked up when not in use.

I'm sorry if that seems harsh, of course, and I feel like this is reasonable. I wish success for you and if there is anything further that you need, I am open to discussing this.

I promise you do not want to see my reaction to unexpected indoor flooding. You really don't want to be the target of it.

I said you wouldn't like it, I didn't say I'd kill you, christ.

I will absolutely disconnect the entire sprinkler system in my lab though.

Tut tut. Fire safety, Wilson. Can't fuck with that.

But if you thought I was being serious, I'm just really disappointed in you.

If you would like, we can look into providing vents at the base of your walls that would help to ensure that you're lab would not flood. I would prefer if you didn't mess with any of the safety equipment.

Additionally, if there are any drugs in your lab that someone might use to get high, would you ensure that they are locked in a secure place when not in use? I'm sure you already have a procedure for this, but I would like to double check.

That depends on the water level Yeah, maybe.

I don't tend to need pharmaceuticals too much, but I keep everything pretty well locked down.

We'll figure something out. You deserve to feel comfortable in your lab, of course. But also, we can't just ignore safety.

Thank you, Sam.
