Okay, so, did someone spike my coffee with ayahuasca again? Because this has pretty much gotta be an hallucination and if that's not what's happening here then I got nothing.

Although, I have always wanted to visit New York, but I'd sort of imagined the whole 'great American road trip' thing like in 'On the Road' or 'Thelma and Louise', except maybe with less driving off cliffs. Definitely didn't expect this.

Also what is a Jubilant entity, and why is it even Jubilant? Gotta say I’m not the biggest fan of anonymous notes from faceless individuals.

It's more like a multiverse thing? Where the multiverse is real, and whoever or whatever the Entity is, he/she/it/they/other is powerful enough to punch holes from one reality to the next and drag people here. Or maybe it's more like copies of people here. Transdimensional travel is not my area of expertise.

Also, this is more like Kind Of New York or Manhattan Lite than anyone's version of New York in their home realities. Still, a lot of the same landmarks exist! So you can still get some sight seeing in! :D

Multiverse? Like an Earth-two or a ‘worlds within worlds’ kind of deal? Okay, I can get on board with that. I mean it sure beats the hallucination theory. Though that puts a slightly creepier spin on this Entity dude. Is it anyone’s area of expertise? Because if it is I would like to meet them.

Manhattan Lite, huh? I like that. All the sightseeing but only half the fat of actual New York.

I don't know those references. They don't exist in my world, or I've just never come across them. Sorry man. :/ It really does put a creepy spin on the Entity. No one knows the why. I know people are looking into things like the how, and I think there's someone here who actually knows about world hopping, but not me. I'm just along for the ride!

Exactly! You got the museums and the opera and the ballet and the tall buildings and the shops without quite so much bloat from the populace. Also there are ostriches, which is not a thing in my New York. Not like this, anyway. Then again, maybe Manhattan's remodeled since I was there. Maybe someone was like, "Let there be ostriches!" and lo! there were ostriches! As long as they stay away from Queens, I'm good with it.
