We were together for three days before she kicked my ass to the curb. Three months later, she somehow tracks me down (and I'm not an easy man to find) and drops the news on my unsuspecting psyche. Like ten days, later, hello definitely not my kid, man.

Tried to stick close after that. Single moms, you know. She's like five now. I think she's five.
