Your ex not wanting you around was no excuse not to know what was happening in the past, and there are even fewer excuses to come up with now that you’re both surrounded by free medical care and free education. And I was a marine so I know it’s your own damn fault that you don’t know any of this. Unless you were too much of a shitbag to get her signed up for medical then you could have gone to those appointments. What about NPSP? Just didn’t give enough of a damn to show up for those courses? Couldn’t be bothered to schedule a home visit?

How old are you and you’re still pointing fingers at the mother like you didn’t play any part?

If you’re man enough to make the child then you should damned well be man enough to know how to take care of it and it’s mother.

	I paid for everything. I gave her everything. She didn’t want me there at her appointments, and I respected that. I know I made mistakes. You don’t think I know that? Hi there. I'm his son. The one with the dead beat mother. Just to give you a little perspective, she skipped town when I was a kid, took my little sister but not me. Because she's the shitbag, not him.

I'd appreciate it if you'd leave my dad and Alice alone. They've got a second chance here, and someone who doesn't know shit about them, their history, or their current situation isn't going to poke holes at the fabric of their lives.
